try this to your phone. turn off your phone. then follow these instructions.

press and hold the following 4 buttons till the phones restarts completely.

1. hold the green button used to accept calls.
2. hold the * keypad
3. hold the number 3 keypad.
4. hold the power button located at the top of the phone.

press and hold the buttons until the phones starts by itself. it will take some more time to start in this way and remove your memory card and do it.

NOTE: all the phone memory will cleared and your phone will be as good as new.

restore it to factory settings or reprogram the phone

Hi, when a screen goes blank and the phone still works,means that the screen of the phone that makes it display is damaged and will need to be replaced.

Your display circuit is broken, even if the LCD-panel,
seems to be ok the display is damaged.
This is a very common problem in Nokia phones.
The only way to fix this is to change the display.
You need a T-6 Torx Skrewdriver to do the job.
