Actually, the hinge removal of Motorola phone is the most difficult task. You have to be carefull or else you will brake the LCD cable since the connector of the other end of the LCD cable is located near to the hinge. If you applied too strong force there, you wil brake the LCD cable easily so to me, in order to remove the hinge, you should disconnect the both ends of LCD cable connector. One end will attach to the main LCD near to the speaker, the other end will connect to the main board. Disconnect both of the end in order to release the pressure when you apply on the edge of the hinge in order to seperate the LCD part and the main board with keypad part. Good luck.

Joseph

How do I retrieve message left on voicemail?
Hi Anonymous
You need to check in the saved messages option of our Voice Mail, for assistance with that feature the best will be to get in touch with your carrier as that is a service provided by them.

V170 lost its SIM. TracFone
Hi if you take the battery off you can see the sim card, now their is no clip to get it out and it can be a bit fiddly, but what you have to do is slide it out using your thumb or finger, now it can only slide out the one way and if the sim card has never been taken out it can be a bit hard the first few times
now the best way i have found is to lick your thumb or finger then rub them together so you have basically got more grip, you dont want your finger wet put damp enough so it dont just slide off the sim card. now i have found if you use your other hand or the same hand if you can do it without getting in the way when you slide it out, is to put your finger nail under the one end of the sim to life it up slightly as you slide it out, then when it slides out it dont get stuck on the lip
so to answer your question it slides out, it dont life out so dont try lifting it up and their is no clip hold ing it in place, its just a case of sliding the sim card out then once its out you need to slide the new one in making sure it is in the right way round as you will only have to take it out again and its a lot harder to get out if you put it in the wrong way round,
let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok
