I have been delivered a Aquiras Extra WMA 40 but I
No, the machine does not have a heater unless it has a sanitizing cycle which heats already hot water even hotter.
For the machine to work as advertised, you'll need hot and cold water connections. However, if you just hookup the cold water and run the machine on its cold-water setting it will wash -- the laundry may not be as clean as you would like in some cases, but the machine will operate properly.

Dont know how to drain water out machine, I have
By putting it on the "fast spin" program the water should drain out. if not you have a blockage so check the following
first keep it simple, ensure outlet hose is not blocked or kinked....but if not follow these steps
- To sort this isolate from mains
- take off back inspection panel.
- tilt machine forward- get sum1 to hold it for u.
- The sump is the black hose attached to drum.
- place a basin under this and loosen jublie clamp using star head screw driver/ 8mm socket,
- pull sump downwards and remove any blockage.
- note the plastic ball is part of the sump assembley.
- refitt the sump again and tighten clamp, pull down firmly on sump to ensure fitted correctly
if there was nothing in the sump it is sumthing jamming the pump, hairgrip, nail, etc.
tilt machine forward as above with a basin ensuring isolated from mains power
- pump is attached to other end of sump hose, right side of machine as you look in the back.
- using flat screwdriver lift plastic tag up and slide pump assembley to the left releasing it from base of machine
- clip of plastic cover from top of pump
- remove wires from pump
- u should now be able to turn pump around so u can see 3 hex head screws
- remove screws taking note of the position of pump
- remove pump and clear blockage
- reverse steps to reassemble
if this does not sort it poss a new pump needed

I have a new (1 month old) Hotpoint Condenser
There should be no condensation present if it is a condenser dryer, this is the idea of it.
As for tripping the electrice, then it suggests to me that the steam could be the cause of the problem.
As it is a new dryer, then I would strongly advise you ring Hotpoint service, or ring the help line number in your instruction book.
You can contact them at the following address if needed.

Water will not drain cannot open door
The possible problems here are blockages or pump failure. Blockages are the more likely explanation but pumps can fail. If the washing machine will not empty the water out you may also not be able to open the door on some washing machines although these days it's much rarer to have a pneumatic lock on the door due to cost cutting (if a washing machine has a pneumatic door safety lock a rubber hose is connected to the door interlock from the pressure chamber bottle on the tub - water in the tub forces air up this tube and locks the door, which is released when the water is pumped out and the air pressure drops).
Some washing machines have a filter at the front of the machine that can be checked for blockages. Sometimes the filter is hidden behind a removable trim or panel at the base of the front panel. If your washing machine has a water pump filter and a filter drain hose you should be able to drain the water from the washing machine into a bowl without moving the washing machine. Open the pump filter flap and pull the small drain hose forward. Take the bung out and drain into a bowl. It's likely to be painstakingly slow but at least you don't have to try and pull out a heavy washing machine full of washing and water.
If your washing machine doesn't have a pump filter, or it has a pump filter but no draining hose then it's a bit trickier. To drain the washing machine, you will need to remove the drain hose from the drain pipe at the back of the washing machine, and lower it into a bowl or bucket. Many plumbers now plumb the drain hose into the U bend directly under the sink instead of a separate waste pipe at the back of the washer. If yours is connected directly to the u-bend, you can usually unscrew it easily. Remember though, that with the pipe disconnected from the U bend, any water poured down the sink will flood out into the cupboard until the hose is reconnected.
Once you have drained the water, you need to check for blockages in the pump by unscrewing the pump filter. If none is found, sometimes a blockage can occur in the plastic connector that the drain hose is connected to at the sink end (if connected this way)
Once you have the drain hose disconnected and lowered into a bowl or bucket the water should siphon out as long as the pipe is low enough. You are likely to get several bowls full of water from the washing machine. If little or no water comes out then it may be blocked by an item of clothing like a sock and it won't be possible to empty the machine this way or it is going to be a long process.
Once the last bit of water has drained out, the washing machine may now spin as the safety system for preventing a spin while water is in the machine will now recognize the water has gone and allow a spin. Keep the pipe low down and in the bowl or bucket and put the washing machine on a spin only program. Note, this last step is not strictly necessary as once drained, the door should open. However, you might prefer to try to spin a few more bowls of water out.
Clearly if you put more water into the machine it is likely to fail again until the fault is rectified but these instructions should at least get the clothes out.
Other possible obstructions could be inside the sump hose leading to the water pump. Many Hotpoint washing machines have a filter inside the sump hose which gets blocked. Finally, the pump itself can be faulty.

Hotpoint aquarius extra wma40 -
Hi.
I suspect that the top control board has blown , this happens when the brushes wear out in the motor, and short circuit the motor armature, which in turn blows the control board.
Either way it is likely to be an expensive repair, my advice to you would be to buy a new washer if it is more than 5 years old.
I know from experience that this is the most likely course.

My machine is flashing h20
H20 indicates a water supply problem.
Could be frozen pipe, check the hose/s for kinks or restriction, and that you are getting water at the inlet valve/s, and that the water pressure is o/k

The machine stops mid way through the wash and
Sounds like the filter is clogged. The filter is located behind the silver plate at the back of the machine at the bottom. Four screws hold it on. Drain out all the water. The filter is inside the big black rubber hose attached between the pump and the main drum. Remove the plastic clip holding it to the pump unit and then the metal cir clip holding it to the main drum. Inside is a white molded cone and a big white ball which floats. You will find a lot of junk here, clean out thoroughly. To refit put white cone back inside just as you found it, at the bottom, fit ball back into the cone. Attach to the bottom to the drum and re-fasten the cir clip. Finally reconnect the gator to the pump unit and tighten the plastic clip. Check out the pump too before reconnecting.

The hot water goes into the machine at a slower rate than the cold water does. Open the hot spigot (water valve) behind the washing machine all the way open, then open the cold spigot just enough to get the desired 'warm' temperature of the water going into the machine while the machine is filling. You may have to shut the door to allow water to flow. Remember that it takes a minute or so for hot water to reach the machine from hot water tank.

As it takes on water it overfills and leaks out of
The pressure system you refer to, is the water level switch and pressure chamber, the small hose leading to the pressure switch can get blocked and cause the washer to overfill.
To check the hose, remove the lower rear panel of washer, at the bottom right you will see a large black hose, attached to this is the pressure chamber hose leading to the pressure switch.
Remove the small plastic hose and check for blockage here and in the black hose where the small hose is fastened too.
If it still overfills, then could be a faulty water level switch..

Cold water fill does it
Hi,
If your washing machine has inlets for
both hot and cold water, you should connect both if possible. If you can only connect cold water, the washing machine will still work and heat to the required temperature, but it will need to heat the water in the machine, so the wash cycles will take longer and it will use more energy.
If connecting a hot and cold fill washing machine with
cold water only,
you will need to connect a Y-Piece for it to work:
The tail of the "Y" attaches to the cold water valve on your pipework. You then attach both hot and cold water hoses to the branches of the "Y" and connect both hot and cold water hoses to your washing machine.
Please post back if you need further assistance.
Regards,
BElectric

My brushes on my aquarius
The motor is located at the bottom rear of the washer.
Remove lower rear panel, unplug lead into motor,, remove earth wire.
Remove 2 bolts holding motor to drum, lever motor away from you to remove.
Brushes are located at the end furthest away from the pulley.
There has been more than 1 type of motor fitted to this model, so until you remove the motor, you will not know which brushes you need.
