The outlet pipe must be routed higher than the top of the washer or it will always drain. this is normal. The leak, however is not, something may be damaged, open and inspect.
Power off the mains. The filter is located behind
the silver plate at the back of the machine at the bottom.Four
screws hold it on.Drain out all the water. The filter is
inside the big black rubber hose attached between the pump and the main
drum. Remove the plastic clip holding it to the pump unit and then the
metal cir clip holding it to the main drum. Inside is a white molded
cone and a big white ball which floats. You will find a lot of junk
here, clean out thoroughly. To refit put white cone back inside just as
you found it, at the bottom, fit ball back into the cone. Attach to the
bottom to the drum and re-fasten the cir clip. Finally reconnect the hose to the pump unit and tighten the plastic clip. Check out the pump
too before reconnecting. Being the first time you shd note what you doing, what goes where. You certainly don't need techs for this; and techs who come are useless anyway.

You dont need to do all that, to get to the brushes lie the machine on its right hand side. you can then get to the brushes through the bottom without having to remove anything. Just make sure its unplugged from the mains
Sounds like your drain hose is not high enough or you have a tight fit where it goes into your standpipe. The drain hose should have a space around it where it goes into the standpipe or it will create a vacuum effect and **** the water right back out.
It could have over filled, or the drum is turning too fast, or there is a blockage in the dispenser hose. To accessw the hose, remove the top cover, and give the hose a good squeeze to clear any possible blockage.
There is little else it could be, so I am afraid it is a process of elmination.
Good luck.
Almost definitely the pump filter is blocked.
Its happened twice on mine. Tilt machine forward to expose filter, undo clips on flexible hoses and remove filter. clean it out and replace. problem solved. about an hours job.
