Connect the monitor to a different computer (laptop or desktop), to see if the problem "follows" the monitor.

Connect a different monitor to your computer, to see if the video-card in your computer is generating the "wavy" display.

Move any "power-bars" and PC Speakers *FAR* away from the monitor, to eliminate electrical interference.

first check for your head phone. Try to test it to other gadgets. if it is found o.k then if it is o.k, maybe the female connector ( the connector from the LCD monitor) has a defective contact. try to replace the female port of your LCD ask for a technical help. Hope this may help you

Control Panel:

Select Hardware and Sound :
You will then see the options to change it from Power Saver to Balanced.
Make the change and select OK or Apply.
You may have to reboot after you do this to make the change.

Please check if the button is stucked or if you feel it click when you press on the menu button.
Is it a separate monitor or are you using an All in one computer?
If it's a separate monitor try to unplug it from the power source and then have the front lid opened to check if the Menu button has a problem.
is there an option to reset to defaults? if there is try pressing that button and see what happens.

You need to make sure that your laptop or desktop has wireless capability first. If it does have wireless card then you need install one. If it has, then just browse for wireless network around you and click Connect. If it is secure network then you need password, if not you can get right in.

Go to any computer-store, and buy a cable.
Or, look on www.eBay.com for a seller of such a cable.

Press one of those buttons to activate the OSD (On Screen Display).
Press the left/right buttons to switch between menu-entries on the OSD.
Press the OK button to select a specific menu-entry.
Press the left/right buttons to change the value.
Press the OK button to commit the change.
Wait 30 seconds, and the OSD will disappear.

The video player software should also has the Contrast and Brightness setting also.

first you need to isolate the problem to either the computer or the moniter. I would sugust that you hook a know good moniter to the compter and go from there. If the other moniter works then you have a moniter issue aif not chek the video card in the computer. good luck

As a monitor tech, I have to say. You two dopes are completley useless. My son, LB who suffers from severe downsyndrome among other ailments. Quickly figured out that if he stuffed the eraser he was eating between the base and the menu button, the problem would go away.

Congrats on being outsmarted by my disabled son who eats pennies and erasers.

You should be proud. Next time, don't be so, You know....havanagilaish.

Make sure the cable is plugged on on both ends. This is common when the cable is only part of the way plugged in.

A driver is a Link which lets the Computer know how to use said product.

For example with your new laptop the driver will help the computer know what that laptop is capable of, what is built into it., and what features it has that you can use.

I would recommend installing the drivers which came with the screen or going to the manufacturer's website and getting the latest version.

Sounds like you need to replace the CD/DVD.

Is it a black or multicolered bar that runs across the screen? You cant fix that. The monitor is defective and needs to be returned or trashed. You will need a new one.
