Emachines monitor (E15T4W) color downloads

Check the monitor settings in the control panel. You could have the red turned way down or everything else turned way up. If it isn't that, your monitor probably lost the red driver.

Dot in the center of my lcd modnitor

You may have a bad pixel, unplug and disconnect video cable, now press and hold power for 2 minutes. Now plug everything back in place and start monitor, is dot is gone ? if yes! there was a static charge that caused the dot to appear, but if there was no change! you have a dead pixel no remedy.

I have a eMachines w/

Hello laurences467,

Welcome, and thank you for using FixYa!

Your issue is the Power Supply Board. I repair ALOT of these by changing out bad Capacitors on the board.
Since you will not be able to find one of these, repaired already (refurbished board); it will be cheaper, in your case, to replace the monitor.
Your local, WalMart/Best Buy/Staples/Office Max all can give you some good price comparisons.

Have a great day!
