The input hole on my hp pavil is too big for my mini-jack from the headphones. general problem one these machines?
no PC stated. what new Pavillion, must be guess that>here I will answer for both classes of PC.my wild guess, not seeing the PC.you need the 2.5mm to 3.5 mm adapter. tiny to big.you have the wrong ear phones , that dont fit PCs.here it is,....the also so the other way too. 3.5 to 2.5mmhttps://www.bgmicro.com/AUD1107.aspxas PC's get thinner,, the makers must go to the smaller 2.5mm jacks, or they cant do it.no PC posted, why do that? 1985 to 2018HP has vast 1000s of PC now. endless list really.
Pc performer activation key
Thats trial software preloaded by HP when you buy the machine. Suggest you dont waste money on that and remove it using the add/remove or program and features in the control panel.
Slow internet speed with hp pavilion, windows 8, internet explorer 10
My suggestion to remove both McAfee and Norton, they slow down the PC to a crawl. Also they bring all sorts of toolbars and unwantedness.
The free and light use antivirus is the one built into Windows, or if you are rocking Windows 7, Microsoft security essentials. Another one would be malwarebytes as a second layer of defense.
No Webcam
Check if the webcam is plugged in and installed properly
Miracast connect
First off you need to have hardware that can support miracast, your pc has to support it.
Second your tv also must support it.
The easier thing is to get a Microsoft wireless adapter, those go for like 40 to 60 bucks. They get power off the USB on the tv and uses HDMI connection. The only thing you have to do, is just have the laptop project to that and your good to go, there is no setting up this or that with wifi or any other settings.
Trouble with bluetooth from a LG 280 mobile phone
Make sure the Bluetooth drivers are properly installed on the computer, dont use the generic basic Bluetooth driver from windows.
Use the manufacturer Bluetooth drivers, cause it will resolve the Bluetooth connection issues between your computer and whatever the devices you are trying to connect to. Usually any small USB Bluetooth device will come with a small disc to install proper drivers or you can get it from the website of the manufacturer for the latest one.
Suggest you use Windows update to resolve this.
I can't get my HP Pavillion Slimline s3620f PC to
1) Could be a power supply issue. Its gone bad, if you what you meant its not turning on.
2) Could be also interpreted as Windows not properly started. Sometimes power outage, or pulling out the plug to shut down quicker can cause the message to show up, you simply select start normally instead of the repair selection.
3) CMOS battery sometimes causes the PC to not start/power up, its like a small watch battery CR2032, that needs to replaced. Doesn't cost much, cost like $2 or $3. You open up the pc, look for watch battery, remove and replace the battery, make sure there is no power plugged in.
4) Make sure your hard drive is good, run the hp diagnostic to see if it is a hardware issue. Use the link on how to do this
http://www8.hp.com/us/en/campaigns/hpsupportassistant/pc-diags.html
5) Windows 10 tends to screw up computers this way leaving the computer as if the BIOS update failed thereby no screen but power runs. Suggest you backup you files by removing the hard drive and connecting it somewhere else to get the data like another desktop that you know works. Unfortunately its a common issue on hp computers.

nor the Vista, and will get worse every day forward in time for good reasons, (ill skip those too)

vista IE9 max.
IE11 is the only safe MS browser now, and will be banned later.
only Edge is safe, in the MS world of browsers now and the futures. IE 11 is frozen now, (end of life it is)
get firefox.
G7 problems
It sounds like IRQ or IRQL on your Blue screen of ***** (BSOD). You can open the event viewer and try and track down the issue but it is usually a driver that is causing a fault or crossing over an interrupt.
I would suggest you get online with Microsoft and chat with them. First verify what system you are running (latest currently is version 1709) and they can help you resolve the issue with an update but don't let them wipe your system or suggest a clean install because you'll lose all your applications and they do not care if you can't find your Windows 2003 orrice disk with serial number. Try uninstalling specific drivers, especially your video drivers and reinstalling them from scratch.
Devices not found on laptop
no PC state, make HP model, LT or Desktop.
no OS stated windows, what XP>? XP loves to hate CDs
it is INFAMOUS for that... and worse if upgraded the drive.
id bet this,
1: running sticking XP, and XP is a dead product at MS. and HP.
2: someone installed MS disks to it and lost the HP driver.
The HP drivers must be installed, for the cam to work
one USB driver and the correct camera driver to match you unstated OD.
The DVD drive needs this.
XP SP3, service pack 3 adds more drives.
then needs the (if XP ) patch to the registry called filter hack for XP DVD)

click start, click control panel click system.
bingo the OS name and version is there, if 64bit that too matters big time.
