My monitor turns yellow

Computer monitors get separate red, green and blue video signals from the computer, and if you lose the blue the result is a yellow picture. This can be caused by video card failure in the computer (very unlikely), a bad cable (fairly common), or trouble in the monitor (which is most likely what you have).

The usual problem with monitors is bad solder connections to the red, green and blue output devices. These are usually three separate transistors, but sometimes an integrated circuit that puts all three in one package is used. These outputs get pretty hot, and the heat can cause the connections on the circuit board to crack. Resoldering them usually fixes the trouble. (Sometimes the part actually fails, but bad connections are more common.)

The parts are normally in one of two places. Most commonly they are on the small circuit board you'll find right at the neck of the picture tube. Some monitors have them on the main circuit board. They may be mounted to metal heat sinks to help keep them cool. If you can identify them and resolder the connections, you'll probably get your normal picture back.

Monitor fine with 1 PC, no RGB input after windows load on other?

Lower the resolution on the computer to 800 x 600 and then hook up that monitor see if it at least accepts that and doesn't go black. You may have to go into safe mode to do it plus then go back into regular mode.

Monitor has power light on but screen is

Hello,

The picture board on your monitor is bad, since the power led or button is on, it means the picture board of your monitor has developed fault.

The best thing for you to do now is to take the monitor to a local repairer within your vicinity or any service center to help with the replacement of the picture board because the fault is not something you can fix yourself, in order not to complicate issues.

Take care.

Monitor goes to standby after booting up.( Amber light)

I'm going to guess that your monitor has different imputs and maybe you aren't selecting the right one? There is usualy a button to change imputs on the monitor. If there is no signal and you've checked all the channels, the cable your using might not be functional or your monitor might be broken.

If the computer is attached properly and you get the flashing lights it is due to switch mode power supply being faulty, too expensive to fix I think you will find, never seems to be anything like just a fuse I'm afraid, modern worlds tells you its time for you next monitor..... do try to ensure it aint the pc by hooking laptop or something else to this unit, or hooking another monitor to your pc to be sure but I find power supply failure is normally how monitors leave this world...
