Tdc32 will not heat up

Hi, If you are having problems with your gas dryer not heatingthe most common problem is that the ignitor goes bad. Even though it glowssometimes it is still not working properly. if you dryer is gas check out this gas no heat tip.... If you have an electric dryer, you can have many differentthings that can go wrong causing the dryer not to heat. check outthis electric no heat tip...

look at the general electric, there are three of them I would guess that it is the Large Capacity Models 1970-1990.

Spins but no heat

Update - we solved the same problem by resetting the Stat. Follow the instructions posted by kevinwhiteho, but we found that you had to push on the opposite side of the Stat with your finger whilst pushing the pin onto the trip mechanism.

Clean filter light comes on

Have you checked the venting system? The 4" flex line that connects to the back of your dryer may be stopped up, maybe even all the way to the outdoors.

Where is door sensor miro

Look at the door, there should be a tang on it that goes into a slot on the dryer.
The switch should be behind that slot

dismantle the top and front covers,then test the heating element,high limit thermostat on the element housing,then,check the cycling and thermal fuse on the blower wheel housing for continuity

Check that the air filter isn't blocked. This is probably located on the back wall of the drum.
Ensure the vent isnt obstructed, blocked or kinked.

I hooked up new heating

Hi.

Check the thermal fuse, ensure that it is good. You can test the thermal fuse setting the multimeter on impedance and touching the fuse contacts with the multimeter probes. If the circuit is open the fuse is causing the problem.

Dryer is blowing out cold air

Chance is the TOC is gone this is thermal cut out that is located at the back there is two of them one has gone but you need to replace both , parts are around £ 15 for the kit......If you have amultimeter you can see which one has gone, TOC should show closed circuit...............Good Luck

Dryer not heating

Hi,
When the dryer won't heat it is the thermostat/thermal fuse that is bad, you can test it with a voltmeter before replacing. This fuse is located inside the rear panel and it cannot be reset.

Drayer problem

Check the belt, you access toi the belt by removing the back panel.

If belt is ok, then check the timer control, the motor, and the motor control unit, that is an electronic board, usually protected by an insulating box inside the appliance.

There are also a couple of circuit breakers you should check.

Entering the model number here you get the exploded view, and replacement parts.
