Just to check, do you have any power settings enabled? If you right click the desktop and go to properties, then screensaver, then power settings, look for hibernation and options to turn off the monitor after a certain amount of time. Maybe one of these settings got checked.

If the power light is on and yellow or flashing, but nothing displays, or the display is incorrect, borrow a monitor from a friend. If that works, your monitor probably needs replaced. 7. Also, you could try your display on a friend's computer. If it doesn't work, your monitor probably needs replaced. If it works properly on your friends computer, the problem may be with your computers video output port, motherboard video chip (or video card, if you have one), or drivers.

f1703 monitor >> too simple!!! Unclip the front cover that sits around the front screen. >Becareful not to break the clips.>Remove the adjustment 715L1009-1-B (MANNEQUIN KEY BOARD) it has 2 screws and unclips from opposite side of the board. >> Clip back the surrounding cover.
Job done, no more OSD MAIN MENU ON YOUR SCREEN.
And you do not need to replace the board, your monitor will work just fine.
