Hotpoint NWSR483EBWW Electric Dryer - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
Hot Point electric dryer squeaking when in use.
It could be one of the pulleys on the bottom of the drum. Take the top and front panels off of the dryer. Get some WD-40. Now the hard part, there is no easy way, but put your right arm in underneath the drum (the right side of the drum)and spray the pulley the best you can. This is the hardest, but the easiest way to fix this problem, without having to take the entire dryer and drum apart. I had the similar problem. I didn't completely fix the problem, but the squeak has been significantly quieted.

My dryer is getting electrical power. But when I
it may be the door switch, but if you hear a click when you push the start button then the motor reset button tripped. You should be able to set the dryer on its front side and see the motor reset buttons as there are two one trips one resets, push the reset in it should click and then plug it in and see if that helped. Hope this helps if not feel free to ask more info as I am more then willing to help Tim

Wont run
If the unit does not turn then you need to check the thermal fuses inside the dryer.Check the continuity on all of them and the one thatdoes not have any replace it.
you may also need to replace the door switch this could also be faulty.

Timer button won't rotate and dry time is very
The timer has a little motor in it that causes it to turn and it sounds like it has failed. I'm assuming you can manually turn the timer all the way around. If you can, then it is not mechanically stuck. It's the motor within the timer.
Replace the timer/controller.
If this helps you, please select YES to one of the first two ratings questions. Thank you, and Good Luck.

Squeaking due to weight of clothing
When you need this kind of noise and there is no abnormal vibration, then it depends on the drive pulley that pull the belt.
If it depends on the weight, and you get vibration it can also depend on bad dumper pads.
Here you can locate dumper pads and drive pulley below the tub.
Both parts are serviceable, repair should not be expensive.
If you need to contact a repair service, you can use the number listed on the owner manual.

Hotpoint VTDOO dryer works but timer does not move and no reverse
sounds like you may have a timer with the contacts sticking closed at certian intervals. or a bad pcb check visual inspection of PCB look for burns or bulges, on the diodes or capcitors, Ihave in the past taken timers apart and fixed sticking contacts by sanding with emery cloth.

Hotpoint Aquarius dishwasher DWF34S/42 no power - possible fuse blown
Based on your description, it sounds like there was a short circuit in the dishwasher which caused the fuse to blow and the burning smell. It is possible that the burnt connection you are seeing is related to the short circuit.
If you have experience with electrical repairs, you can try to identify and replace the burnt connection. However, if you are not comfortable with electrical work, it is recommended that you seek the assistance of a qualified technician to avoid any potential safety hazards.
In any case, before attempting any repairs, make sure that the dishwasher is disconnected from the power source and that all safety precautions are taken.

The drum wont spin on my Hotpoint CTD00 dryer
Remove top cover, and see if the belt is intact, if it is then it could be the motor is not working for one reason or another, this would entail further investigation.
Please rate my solution.
Thanks.
