Panasonic NV-GS55 Mini DV Digital Camcorder Questions & Answers
I cant eject my Panasonic NV-GS55 Mini DV Digital video cassette
Try ejecting cassette whilst powered from AC Adaptor. Secondly, try operating Eject from powered off mode. If operation LED starts flashing after any of these attempts, the mechanism is probably jammed or has become mis-timed. Unfortunately this requires professional intervention to avoid further damage to your equipment.
I hope this information is of assistance!

Hi,
i am
You need a firewire cable and a firewire card on your computer if it doesn't already have a firewire connector.
Then you'll need a capture software if you don't have windows movie maker.
Hope you can start making movies soon! :)

I want to connect my
for downloading pictures only ..you can use the usb cable ..but first you have to install the usb driver that was provided with the camera
Run the driver ..and connect the camera when it asks for it ..Be sure you use teh camera plugged into the adapter ..cause any battery power lost ..can cause the card beying erazed during the transfer ..so use it plugged into the cord when downloading ....
For to download the videos you have to use the fire-wire cable ..and the manager that was provided...to be sure that the camera is seen on the computer ..you need all drivers installed (including for the fire-wire ..and this have to be enabled) ..
the easy way to download video is to transfer them on the card via the editing mode n the camera ..and get them from it with a card reader..
Here is a mode to import with the fire-wire cable using the windows movie maker...from a tape ..video..

I have a panasonic NV-GS55 digital video camera,.
This is usually caused by an oxidized or defective Audio/Video drum. Try running a cleaning tape through the camera. If this does not solve the problem the camera will need to be repaired qualified service technician.

I have a panasonic handycam. It shows an error
Hi,
The record tab is usually on the tape itself and is usually red in colour.
If you slide the tab to the open position and then reinsert the tape it should allow you to record.
Regards.

Check rec tab keeps popping up
Ok, I've had this issue for some time now ... and just figured it out, hopefully your issue will be the same.
If you pop out the tape you are trying to record to. Look at the top, there is a small tab on one of the corners that will allow or prevent recording on the tape depending on which way it is positioned. If you slide it open the tape is locked for recording, if you close it, you can record. Try that and see if the problem goes away.....
