Nikon F65 35mm SLR Camera - Page 7 Questions & Answers
I have a NikonF90X SLR
It's probably just dirt, swet and stuff from years of use and can be removed simply by wiping with a damp cloth and some dish washing liquid.

How do u get the camera 2 rewind
Usually the automatic rewind starts when the film roll has come to the end. You can rewind also before that by a rewinding button you'll find usually somewhere in the camera body.
To rewind manually, press the film release button (consult the manual if you don't find it) and use the rewinding lever to rewind the film. See this for inspiration: http://www.ehow.com/how_2028878_film-mm-manual-slr-camera.html

Nikkormat 35mm SLR light meter not working!
1) Clean the battery contacts and put fresh battery.
2) Open the top cover and clean the meter switch ( located and the wind cam )
3) Meter needle maybe stuck at the rest position. Remove the stopper and replace or clean.
4) If none of these help, check the meter cells and resistor band under the shutter dial behind the lens mount ( hard to do.)

How do set the self timer in Nikon F70
Press the SET/timer button (top left of the camera, behind the FUNCTION button, marked SET with a one-handed clock icon) and confirm that the one-handed clock begins blinking on the LCD panel. While pressing the SET/timer button, rotate the command dial one click to stop it blinking. Proceed normally (frame and compose picture, half-press shutter release button to meter and autofocus, etc). Fully depress the shutter release button to take the picture after a ten-second delay.
If you need a manual, you can download one from http://www.butkus.org/chinon/nikon.htm . Look for "N70", which was the name used in the USA.

My Nikon D 700 hundred appears to be stuck in flash sync mode
Hello. I love my Nikon. Begin by turning it on and finding reset on the menu. Push reset to set it back to the original factory settings. This act alone my solve the problem. If it does not solve all of the problems, go to Nikon.com and find the closest factory repair site to send it in. Joe

6517836 is 65 the year of manufacture
I very much doubt it. (Neither of my nikon film cameras seem to follow that numbering convention.)
It its a camera, there simply are not enough numbers in the rest of the sequence to match units made in a year.
If its a lens, then you could tell more from here :
http://www.photosynthesis.co.nz/nikon/serialno.html
It would seem that all you can say about the numbering conventions is that they run in sequences - not much embedded logic.

What does the blinking E in the Nikon n65 mean?
It means "Film remains in the camera after film rewind complete."
If this is happening after shooting, the remedy is simple: open the camera and remove the film. If this is happening right after loading the film, then you've got a more serious problem: the camera is rewinding the film upon loading.
