Dew detected eject tape
I have the same problem with my PV-DV103. Panasonic wants more to TRY and fix it than the camera cost new. MY advise can the camera and buy one without the DEW option.
Thats what I am searching for presently . If the manufacturer says the camera has a dew indicator in the circuit - buy elseware.

Where is the reset button
I haven't used mine for over 2 years because of the mildew detected warning and not being able to find anyone to fix it for me. I just found this on the internet and am going to try it when my battery charges. Seems this is a common error for these palmcorders... good luck!
"When you get the "Dew Detected" sign on the screen, remove the battery, give it a good palm hit on the bottom where the battery sits. Hit it a couple good times, put the battery back in and voila it will work guaranteed! I thought it was dumb at first, tried it and it works, hell it works everytime. The blow dryer, plastic bag trick dont work because its an electrical error, not actual dew."

I'm trying to use my Web Camera for Skype
this could be the comparability with the webcam. Since i am assuming the webcam is external, it might be a driver or not work with skype. you can always see yourself, but that doesnt mean it will work on the other side.
also because you pay for fast internet or have it doesnt mean you will get it.

Same dew dection problem with no help from Panasonic
Stupid as it may sound, After much investigation and navigation, dissasambling, cleaning and unsuccesful attempts. Dew detected message kept coming on . Found a solution that worked for my and many others apparently.
Remove the battery, take the cam firmly and hit it with the palm of your hand exactly bellow de base of the battery seat (lower BACK side OF THE CAM,) TWICE or three times. Hit it hard, Put the battery back on, turn it on and it shoukld work like magic. Try it, I thought the same thing you are thinking now when I read this. please go ahead an try it good luck

Can you record from a
I think that is you have a fire wire cable ...you can export directly from your recorder deck to the computer ...The idea is to make the connection and after that use the windows movie maker ...to import from device ..and choose the recorder as the device to import from .....The issue is the cable ...cause you need a cable to fit the out-put of your recorder..and the input (firewire) on the computer ..
Same thing with the camera ...just a mater of cable ...cause you will no longer be able to use the cable for exporting from the camera ..but you need one from the exit of the deck ...into the video in-let of the camera ..and the actually importing is made by putting the recorder on playback ..and the camera on record..and also follow the signal to be received on the camera ..
same thing when you attach it directly to the computer ...open windows movie maker..and playback the deck ...while you open the import from device function ..and select the deck as the device to import from

Dew detected
This is usually caused by a failed component in the moisture detection circuitry within the camera and can usually be repaired fairly inexpensively. However, it's not a user serviceable problem and will need to be repaired qualified service technician.
