After re-inserting the SD card into this unit, reconnect the supplied USB cable.

Select another USB terminal on the PC.

Connect the supplied USB cable again after restarting the PC and turning the unit on.

you do not charge the camera ! You have to charge the removable battery in the charging dock. it is then placed on the charging dock that is plugged into the power outlet. The battery needs to be slided in the direction of the arrow on the charging dock.
