This is actually a domestic VCR, not a camcorder. As it is over 17 years old, it is probably just worn out. Any repair would be financially unviable.

This is now over five years old, and has doubtless been superseded by an updated model. It is highly unlikely that there will be a driver for it. However, as it uses an SD card, all you need to do is to plug this into your computer's card reader (if your computer does not have one, they are available on Ebay), and transfer your videos thusly.

batteries degrade over time when not used and sounds like not fully charging. i'd get a new battery firt as very cheap on ebay i just got a samsung dv camera battery for £2.50 on ebay
