I do not see any

The most likely cause for this is a damaged or defective flexible ribbon cable that connects the vewfinder LCD to the camera body and can be repaired fairly inexpensively. However, it's not a user serviceable problem and will need to be repaired by a qualified service technician.

My name is Rick and I'm a professional repair technician with over 20 years in the business and have repaired many of these. I'm semi retired and work from home with little overhead so I can keep repair costs low. If you decide to have the camera repaired, please click HERE for a directory listing that suits your needs.

If this response has been of any help to you, please be sure and give a positive vote for me on FixYa.com.

I have several mini tapes

The tape has a brake on the rear of the shell, it's accessed through a small rectangular slot. Could be faulty or something jammed in the hole. Place a small screw driver into the slot and carefully see if the brake releases OK. It should move freely as it's spring loaded.

I have a Panasonic PV-GS250

There is a flaw in the tape casing that was present during manufacture, since all the others work fine I recommend not using the one you are having issues with, eventually it will jam in the camcorder causing more serious problems that will lead to an expensive repair bill.

Where can I buy a battery for a Panasonic

Have you tried bust buy or circuit city? Most battery specialty shops would probably have one, if not they can order one for you. Check the web for battery replacements!

I don't see any display in my Panasonic PV-GS250..

Did you solve this? Also, could you be more specific? No video on either the LCD or in the viewfinder? Both when trying to record and when playing back a tape?

Can i use a usb connection to transfer video from

Yes, your camera should have come with a cord. If not, another device, like your cellphone might have the same cord to use. You can also check Radioshack to see what cord they recommend.

Mini dv tape won't eject, says push reset button

Hi,

Thanks for using Fixya.

This error indicates a cassette mechanism malfunction.
It happens usually when you don't operate the camecorder for long time leaving the cassette inside and the battery attached.

You can remove this by following these steps:-

1. Open the cassette housing and nock GENTLY with your finger tip
on the cassette cabinet (particularly on the position marked "push") until the cassette is released.

2. Push on the right place (marked "push") to close and then close the
cassette housing.

3. Operate the cassette (play, fast forward/backward).
Repeat the above steps several times until the problem is gone.

Advise: Remove the battery and cassette when leaving the camecorder for long period without being operated, and store the camcorder in a dust/humidity protected place.

Good luck and have a nice day.

Rating the solution is highly appreciated.

This camera does not have a port on the camera itself. It uses a wired "battery" that connects to the battery charger.
