Compaq FS 7550 17" CRT Monitor Questions & Answers
Can i connect my FS7550 to wireless
The model number FS7550 indicates that it is only a monitor, not a computer. This monitor cannot be connected to wifi (wireless). However, if what you're asking is "can a desktop computer can be connected to wifi," then the answer is yes. Purchase an (inexpensive) USB wifi adapter that meets the specification of your wireless system (B, G, N, or AC).

LG CB553H Monitor
Hi,
A monitor display showing "No Data" indicates that either the PC is not sending any usable video signal or the monitor is not capable of displaying the incoming video signal. To determine which is at fault, you would need either a known good second monitor or a known good second PC.
Additionally, it is also possible that neither is at fault and that you simply need to lower down the Screen Resolution and/or the Screen Refresh Rate of the computer's display properties to match the limitation/capability of the monitor. A method of verifying if this is the case is to start the PC in "Safe Mode" by pressing F8 after POST before Windows boot.
Alternately, there are some instances that it is the video cable that is the issue. To verify, you can try wiggling the cable to the connector end that goes to the PC's Video output.
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
Good luck and kind regards.
Thank you for using FixYa.
Power button on monitor
Looks like a loose contact in the button assembly. You will just need to get the button assembly replaced. Can be done at any computer service shop.
Fuse blown repeatedly on CB553H-KL
Hi,
Re your post/description on an LG CB553H-KL fuse blowing, this is indicative of an over current (>5Amps) flowing through the AC mains supply. If you are comfortable doing component level repair and familiar with electronic parts/circuitry, continuity tester and a soldering iron, please do passive (off-board) test of the following components:
D900 - bridge diode;
C908 (150uF/400V) - filter/power capacitor;
Q901 - regulator.
If Q 901 is shorted, pls likewise check ZD901, D910, R902 & 915.
Just to be sure/safe, check also:
C901, 902 & 904;
TH 901 & 902;
Though unlikely, you may want to check also:
Q706 - Horizontal out transistor (attached to the aluminum wall acting as heatsink;
FBT - Flyback transformer.
Other than the component aforementioned, no other parts would cause enough current flow to blow the fuse. But of course, anything can still be wrong
Hope this be of some help. Pls post back how things turned out or should you need additional information.
Good luck and kind regards.
