Problem with powerup for my screen

Although you didn't list your operating system, I'm assuming it is Windows and offering a suggestion to clear up the issue based on that OS. Go to settings, and then to control panel. Once in control panel look for "power settings" and click on "custom". This will allow you to turn off all power saving modes by clicking "never" on when the screen is turned off or goes to sleep. If the issue is caused by the power saving mode, this will end the problem.

Monitor color settings not being maintained

Sorry to hear you're having this issue, Josh. To clarify, you can get the proper colors if you set them manually, correct? If so, that rules out the possibility of a screen issue or a problem with the video card. I hope for your sake this is a new monitor for you (or at least one that would still be covered under warranty), for it sounds like it's a logic issue in the monitor itself that prevents saving of the proper settings as well as the distortion of the presets. I would return it if possible for a replacement/refund, as they seem to be a quality product...it just looks like you got a defective one. Sorry I couldn't be of more help to you, but good luck! :)

Monitor keeps going black, turn power button off,

The problem is in the inverter board it is on the verge of failure, it is caused by bad capacitors in most cases and will eventually go. The board must be replaced or an attempt to repair the old one.

Monitor goes off, on/off button turns yellow

It is truning yellow can be because it is not getting the video signal from the PC, I would check the video cable and aslo try it with another PC first. If it is monitor problem, then please read on.
If you are going to DIY and already try the monitor with another PC, and have proper tools and know safety precaution then please read on: Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply (they should be replaced in a set), blown fuses; poor solder joints, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed SONY to get some ideas what to look for: http://s807.photobucket.com/albums/yy352/budm/ Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further and it will help out other people in the future also.

Screen stays on for 1/2 sec, power light stays green

Hello,

It sounds like you have a monitor with a common problem. After a few years some LCD monitors will blow a power supply. The problem is caused by parts called capacitors overheating in the confined space of the monitor. If you are good at electronics repair/soldering you can usually fix the problem. Check out a few pictures on my web site www.ccl-la.com/badcaps.htm You can take the back cover off your monitor and look for the bad parts, replace any that look like the pictures and your monitor should work fine. The capacitors do need to be installed with the correct + and - connections, note the stripe on the old one and insert the new one the same way. If you don't want to try the repair yourself we offer a repair service for $35 plus shipping.

I hope this helps, if so please rate my solution.

My monitor wont stay on.

May sound wierd, but Its windows, try going into safe mode, and changing the screen size, (1024 x 768) sometimes, it gets put on a size that doesnt fit your pc/screen, so it turns off.. Like I said, go into safe mode, and change it around and reboot untill it works.. I had that issue once.
