Umm they still make these things so if you cant find they do sill have the cleaner its just been renamed its called cd cleaner take it and open the tape deck and with a lint free cloth wipe the head and let dry

Anything with a cassette in it has belts and capstans, play heads and runner rollers. The belt is likely stretched and sticky, replace it with a new belt. I use a product called rubber renue on the roller to stop it from sticking to the tape.

Do the videos work when viewed on a computer or TV (if using HDMI or other connections for TV)? If the camcorder still records video, but the screen itself isn't showing anything, then the screen needs replacing. If it does not record videos, then it's an internal repair issue.
