Cyber Acoustics CA-3550 Computer Speakers Questions & Answers
Distorted sound on the CA-3550
It could be that, or it could be that you have the wrong audio settings. Such as the quality of playback being set too low or a sound setting which is not for music.
My CA-3554 speakers do not turn on
It might be a relay or something that gives clickany way ur speaker power supply need to be checkedAc to dc converter or transformer r typical cases
No output on one channel,
Hello, test your speakers by connecting them to either a radio or a mp3 player/ipod. If you get output from both channels, then it's a computer problem, which might be your Windows 'volume control' settings (in advanced mode you can see the balance control). Alternately, you could plug in a headphone to the pc and hear if you have output to both channels coming from the pc.
If when you test your speakers on a radio or mp3 player you STILL DON'T get an output on the one channel then you need to concentrate your troubleshooting to the speaker system.
Hope this helps...and don't forget to vote!

My CA-3550 speakers no longer produce sound - but
I had the same ones their junk... They don't hace magnetic protection and it says not to put them next to moinitors and other magnetic equpment. The only reason the head phones work is because the cables that send audio signals are still working, It is because the mini sound amps within the speakers have some how distroyed them selves. Its not great and theirs not much you can do acept take it appart and look for either: ( broken/or unsodered wires, or a broken circut). I hope this helps,
TJ
Lots of problems please help!
- firstly you check the cable loose/break,
- check it by using multimeter
- dry soldering, loose contact
- resolder soldering points or reconnect cable
- your powersupply transformer coil may breaked now it become loose contact.
- you check the supply output voltage with and without load
- if low or no output voltage replace supply
- if you don't get the proper transformer rewind it
- also check power amplifier section short ckt
Only one speaker works
if you have plugged correctly without any losse contact it should work if not o think your speaker configration is not correctly set go to the control panel->sounds and audio devices->device volume->advanced there u set that balance slider to middle of all volume control, wave,sw synth, line in etc.. then go to speaker settings in the same window of sounds and audio drivers there in speaker settings click on advanced you get another window in that drop down box specify your speaker configration wether is desktop speakers laptop mono speakers or stereo headphones etc specify the right one you have then ok after this in speaker settings click on speaker volume and keep left and right speakers to maximum then apply ok this will work check it out if stil not worked tell me what ws the result ill solve that for u
