My Kogi L7EH-TA monitor will not function
Do you get a No Signal on the monitor?
IF so, the problem is in your computer, or you have a bad monitor cable. (Cable from monitor to computer)
Try the monitor on a known working computer, and use that working computer's monitor cable.

Okay now use the monitor cable from the Dell Inspiron 537.

Problem is the monitor cable. They do go bad.
Problem is the computer? Check to see how dirty the computer is inside. Unplug the computer from power, open the computer case.
DO NOT reach inside, and touch any components, even to clean, until you have touched the metal frame of the computer case. You are just looking for now.

If the inside of the computer is dirty, so is the power supply. The case fan/s draw air into the computer, and push the air through the computer case.
The power supply fan draws air through the computer, and pushes the air out of the back of the
computer.
Anything that goes through the computer, also goes through the power supply.
Dust, Dirt,. Hair, Lint, Carpet Deodorizer, you name it, can be drawn in. (Sometimes, spiders make webs inside!)
Inside the Dell Inspiron 537 Desktop PC, is a processor with a Heatsink on it, and a Fan on top of the heatsink.
The Heatsink is a square looking device, that has fins on the top.
The bottom is flat, and is attached to the top of the Processor's case.
The heatsink absorbs the heat of the processor, by being in close relation to it, and the fins radiate the heat up, and out.

There is also Thermal Paste, in-between the top of the Processor case, and bottom of the Heatsink)
The fan attached to the top of the Heatsink b-lows the heat away.
If the fins become clogged, and the blades of the fan, the processor heats up.
When the processor becomes too hot, it turns off.
This is a Fail Safe feature that is built-in. BIOS turns the Processor off.
During this, the Processor has been calling for more power, due to the heat.
The power supply tries to keep up.
The power supply has Heatsinks inside it, also. Plus a fan, to draw air across the components inside the power supply.
This is the power supply's cooling system.
Once the fins of the heatsinks become clogged, and the fan blades, the cooling efficiency drops tremendously.
The power supply heats up.
Again, Heat = Wasted Energy.
The power supply tries to put more, and more power out, until eventually the components inside the power supply fail.
Power supply failure is a main cause of computer failure.
