how do i format a jvc grd73 ek video camera

Because of the black rubber part you have that problem so now you need to find one and insert on the bottom part of you tape deck for your camera to work.

i lost my driver GR-D73,howcan Idownlod the driver?

HI, This problem is mostly a faulty pick up device. unless you have some electronics skill, this repair should be left to a professional repairman. hope this helps.

Hello, There are several solution for this issue.

1. connect to a computer through firewire(IEEE1394) and download to an editing software e.g Windows movie maker native with windows or third party software such as Adobe premiere.Some editing is required to top and tail your video and export as a suitable file for making DVD. import into Nero or Roxio for final burn in DVD format.
2. If you have access to a DVD recorder, connect camera to DVD recorder through Firewire cable and make DVD straight away.Do not forget to finilise the disc for compatibility with other DVd players.

Sure you can - I belive that camera has a micro USB connector, so you just need to go to your local computer store (or order online) a Micro USB to USB (or whatever suits you) cable.

You can connect the MINI DV Camcorder to your PC using an i.LINK cable. In order to perform that, you need an i.LINK port in your Computer. Please let me know if you require further assistance... Thanks for using Fixya..

The most likely cause for this is a zoom or focus lens out of place or impaired in some way. This will require disassembling the camera to remove the lens assembly and then disassembling the lens block to repair. This can be done fairly inexpensively but it's not really a user serviceable problem and should be repaired by a qualified service technician.

its probibly early signs of condensation or a little damp air with faults of this nature same as lense cap fault and or condensation fault leave camera plugged in and switched on for a week . when camera has been on for a while dont put it straight into a bag or case leave it a room temp for a couple of hours after use before putting it away .
