You have a bad connection or break in the wiring. Fix that and your monitor will work properly. Could be the wire itself or the plug you use to plug into.

To get the computer back up again and out of hibernation you should just hold the power button down until it shuts off completely. Some laptops won’t shut off even if you do this. When this happens you have to take the battery out to get it to turn off. Make sure it is not plugged into the wall when you do this otherwise it wont work.

Sounds like the issue is with your video card/onboard video chip or the connection between the monitor and the pc. Verify the cable from the monitor is connected to the pc firmly & snugly. See if the monitor gets a picture on a known working pc. If so, then it's a (relatively) simple fix - work on the videocard - if add-in, try reloading drivers, ensure the onboard video is disabled in the BIOS, or (worst case) replace the video card. If it's onboard, again, try replacing/updating drivers and, if that fails your next step is to either get an add-in video card, or replace the mobo. sounds like a capasitor poped on the power board if the case you will need a new display the board is more expinsive sorry

make sure the video cable is inserted firmly. is it is, the video cable wires are loose inside the monitor which it is not getting the signal, telling it to go on standby mode.

Sounds like this one needs component-level troubleshooting in the power supply section.

1. Disconnect all cables from the device.

Check the data recovery programme used for an idea or start again now you have your data back by re initialising and formatting the drive as a new one.

Depending on your OS, use your disc utility and see if it has been initialised or not. If not initialise it and then you can format and use it as normal.
