Hi there, I've just posted my own answer to the same problem, my own problem, elsehwere on here. My solution was to insert a Firewire card into my PC and use that port. I checked with Sony and they said my original USB cable and port was not appropriate with Windows 7 64 bit, that a Firewire port was best. When such a Rirewore port is used then the correct driver automaticllly become available to you, if you have Windows 7 that is. I probably wrote the answer much better first time around on my other posting.......

Please try reinserting the battery. Also try with AC Adaptor. If the issue persists, service may be required.

Close and eject about 20-30 times. It will unstick.

The error code C:32:11 indicates a problem in the tape mechanism rotary mode switch. This can be repaired fairly inexpensively. However, it's not a user serviceable problem and will need to be repaired by a qualified service technician.

1. Try resetting the camera with the power on. The reset button is located (very small) on the function panel behind the LCD display. Activate with a pencil, paperclip, or similar.
2. If resetting the camera doesn't work, you will need to send it in for repairs.

This can be caused by several problems including the transmission gear in the tape mechanism not engaging properly or a defective clutch in the take-up spool and can be repaired fairly inexpensively. However, it’s not a user serviceable problem and will need to be repaired by a qualified service technician.

This can occur when the heads do not spin up fast enough or the loading does not complete. Check for slipping of the loading belt. There is more load placed on the loading motor and mechanism in total when the tape is actually there. The flashing Eject indicates that the load did not complete.

Follow these steps to resolve the issue:

Step 1: Remove the cassette and insert it again , then operate your Camcorder.

Step 2: Try using different cassette.

Step 3: Try resetting the Camcorder.

[Resetting the Camcorder will reset the settings of the Camcorder to the factory settings including date and time. It will not delete any data saved in the Camcorder.]

Please locate the RESET button behind the LCD screen of the Camcorder. Press the RESET button using a sharp-pointed object. The Camcorder should be switched ON when you reset the unit.

Step 4: Try to power reset the Camcorder and check if it helps to resolve the issue. Power Reset the Camcorder by removing the batteries from the Camcorder and inserting it after 1 minute.

Step 5: Service is required.

Do you hve a FireWire output in the camera? (IEEE)
If yes, connect it to your computer.(You need a firewire card in your computer too ($10 on ebay))

If you do not have a firewire, you will have to use your video out of the camera to capture. Then you will need a TV card/Capture card to capture the video. (you can just plug in your AV out from the camera to the capture/tv card and use the software come with it.)

You can simply use Windows Movie Maker to get your videos to yor computer.

Question edited for clarity, add full 'make model (what it is)'. Question moved from Cars and Trucks category. Searching for your manual keeps bringing up this manual https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/res/manuals/2698/26988801M.pdf Looking at that manual Page 16, it states the battery pack as 'NP-FP50', and that turns up batteries for $15. https://www.google.com/search?q=NP-FP50 ..

If it were worth repairing, as a Sony agent, I would replace all of the capacitors and clean up the board then reset the mechanism and test. Probably too old being 2001 vintage.

It is not even listed on their website. https://www.sony.ca/en/electronics/support/cameras-camcorders/manuals/results?query=V569# There are normally two batteries, a small one that just saves memory and runs the operating system, and a larger battery that actually powers the camera. The best thing you can do now is to take it to a specialist and get them to do the repairs. Camcorders have a lot of electronics in them and can be easily damaged if your a not an experienced repairer. You might also have to consider that this camcorder might not be repairable.

The record / playback heads probably need cleaning, using a compatible cleaning tape. Failing that, it is either damaged or broken.
