How do I solve streaking jitters after installing

The problem is not with the monitor, it is with the graphics. From the sound of it you have VIA graphics and with Windows XP you can more than likely get the driver here:
http://www.via.com.tw/en/support/drivers.jsp
Make sure all connections are good, check in "device manager" and make sure your monitor is enabled and working prorperly and, check in "personaliztion" and make sure you have adjusted you resolution accoringly. If you provide me with the make and model of your system and, even better, the make and model of your motherboard, I can give you more accurate info. In VIA's link, you would want to'
Click on arrow next to system and scroll to "Microsoft windows"
In system, click on XP or XP64, depending on what you have
In driver, click on Integerated Grahics.
Then look for your S3 Graphics Pro but, knowing the chipset would be helpful.
Let me know if I can help you further.

What type of coaxial power connector is on the

Most monitors use barrel type connector with 5.5mm outside diameter and either 2.1 or 2.5mm inside diameter. You can get both of them at Radio Shack. You do not want to use the 2.5mm if the center pin is 2.1mm it will not make good contact.

Color is not correct

First I would check to see if there are bents pins in the connector. Secondly, this usually only happened with the old CRT monitors when they got moved near a location with high magnetic field.

Speaker sound

If your monitor has speakers built in, then you need to run a lead from your soundcard on the computer to a audio port on the monitor. It is normally hidden away near where the video cables etc plug in under the back of the monitor.

Hope that helps. =)

Remove back panel

Take 4 screws from bottom and slide ( silver ) front frame up to unlock ( bayonet ) style. to continue disassembly, remove 6 screws 3 left and 3 right to take off screen. Next is the cover for 2 boards 1-power board and 2-main board. You can now repair or replace both boards.
