Yes it can, you will have to go into settings/menu - the exact path is illuding me at the moment. It is however shown in the user manual

It complete depends what you are recording in! PAL or NTSC? and how many frames... FCP is customized to your camera settings, match them up and then capture away!

I capture mine using a PC because then you can play around with both MAC and PC editing platforms as MAC captures are encrypted to only run on MAC.

ya u can but the best way for u use for 40 min is just press the reset.then ur error is erase from the e prom for while.But it will come again some time not.

Hi...Tape jam inside your Camcorder ...fi you look careful on the side of the door tray look for a little hole it release manually the door but carefully remove the tape.. it possible the tape is unroll around the mecanism see if you cant release the pinch roller inside it a little black roiling rubber,it holding the ribbon tape
