Right click on your desktop>Properties, then click on Screen saver tab, then at botton of the box you should see 'Monitor Power'. Click on 'Power' then Power schemes tab. Look at 'Turn off monitor' and set to 'Never'

That's probably a message from the monitor because it's not getting a signal from the computer. Look at the VGA cord where it plugs into the computer, or the monitor to see if you bent pins when reinserting the plug.

do you have speakers on your monitor? If yes, check the wire connecing hte sound to the speakers

Is it a moniter

Check cable

Try another to see if it will pick up also check cable

Go the desktop, right click with mouse and select properties (if it is XP) then it will open Display properties -->

There you need to go to Screen saver and then to Power option

Disable any power off mode on/ Sleep mode. It will solve your problem.

In LG w1943sb monitor, screw is not used. .In this type 'press-lock' of cover is used. Did you have opened IR remote control, most remote control also used as this monitor's lock, and you can open with a flat screw driver.

Press F8 during boot and then choose safe mode when menu displays Use up down arrow keys and enter. Sometimes it take longer to load in safe mode for some reason.

Go on Option or Menu ,Pwer saving mode then change the setting the way you want them.

This is the technical fault i.e any IC damaged. better take it to the service center or any technician.
