Scanport GEM GL-821A/B 17" Flat Panel LCD Monitor Questions & Answers
Installed windows 7 on a dell sx260 with gem 17
Try going to the Dell or Microsoft Websites and loading a new display driver for Windows 7. When I first got Windows 7, both my monitor and printers required new drivers for Windows 7. It seems that Vista and XP drivers for a lot of things don't work on Win 7.
Good Luck
I have a GEM 17" with power issues!
Sounds like your power supply capacitors are causing the power supply to shut down. Or you have a short in the monitor loading the power supply. You should try a different power supply.

Power Issues!
The AC adapter will go into shut down mode if the monitor is drawing too much current due to short circuits in the monitor, but it can also be bad caps in the power supply itself. You can try new adapter or check inside the monitor for shorted components.

Hello Sbeban hi!, Most likely you have power supply problems. to fix this you need to replace the power supply board. or get professional help, by bringing it for repairs on your dealer.
Now to do it yourself, you need a replacement PS board. Now finding on is difficult. I cannot help you here. search ebay, call your computer shop or dealer. then when you get the refurbish board. disassemble it and replace the old PS board with the new one.

Gem GC150ATA No audio, Icon by clock
Did you check your hardware drivers to see if indeed the Audio Drivers have been installed? Right-click your MY COMPUTER icon, then select PROPERTIES from the menu. When the window pops up, select the HARDWARE tab, then DEVICE MANAGER. See if your audio is installed or if there are yellow exclamation marks under SOUND, VIDEO, GAME CONTROLLERS or under UNKNOWN DEVICES (i could be wrong on that title, but it will be close!!)

My Employer Says They Are Going To Cut My Wages. Can They?
If you are in the middle of a contract, then cutting your wages is almost certainly a violation of your employment law rights. While I am by no means an expert on this matter, I did have a similar issue years ago - mid-contract wage cuts - and I hired an
employment attorney to fight the case on my behalf. It turned out that my employer was basically looking to scare people into taking the wage cut.
They got into some pretty serious legal trouble for their transgression, and nothing happened to me in terms of wage cuts after that. If you are between contracts, your employer can re-negotiate your salary, but as far as I am aware, if you are in an agreed-upon contract, they cannot just decide to reduce your salary. If you want to settle matters, contest this action with support from a legal professional.
