I have a question? I haven't used it in years. I charged the battery and attached it and it won't come on. No light comes on, it won't do anything. What could be the problem(s).

i need the t.v attachment to camcorder 8mm vl e33 dont know where to get it ,,already try it on ebay...but nothing

The problem is most likely the battery itself when you have finished using your kit and wish to put it away never put it away with a half or fully charged battery as it will not last always run it down and never leave a tape in either.John www.jvsvisual.com

If the videos that show poorly were stored near a source of magnetism that may cause problems. If some work perfectly it is probably not the recorder. Try a test with anew cassette-record and playback, Unsure how to get faulty ones repaired if possible.

Try charging it fully. Also make sure that the battery cover/door if firmly closed. Did your battery behave abnormally before this happened? Like, does it drain much faster now than before?

definitely fixable. First off stop using that sd card, when a file is deleted it basically just makes it invisible, and lets the device know that the space it occupied is up for grabs. When you plug the camera into the computer via usb cable, or the flash card into a card reader it is mounted on it as a removable hard drive. Using a recovery program you should be able to un-delete anything, that wasn't written over.

This seems like a very strait forward free tool, just point it to the drive letter the card/camera is mounted to, and follow the instructions. If this tool does not work out for you there are plenty of other ones out there to try, not to mention pay versions.

Tape mechanism problems can be quite complicated. This will require disassembling the camera to repair and can usually be done fairly inexpensively. However, it's not a user serviceable problem and will need to be repaired by a qualified service technician.
