Is it possible to add

You mean a wireless microphone system?..in order to use an external microphone you must have an external microphone jack on the camera .Unfortunately, not all video cameras have external microphone inputs ,including RCA CC9360 model..this means that it's not possible to add a wireless microphone to your camcorder. Here are some wireless microphone systems >

Head cleaning

Quite often just the one clean won't dislodge the gunk built up on the heads. Make sure you use a new wet system head cleaner and you may have to run it a few times to clear the clog. JUST DON'T USE COTTON BUDS OR WOVEN RAGS. BMW

Rca CC9360 Mini DV Digital Camcorder

Usually this occurs when the door latch release mechanism is broken. This mechanism is located on the basket where you push the tape in and it's job is to open the tape "door" on the cassette that you insert. Unfortunately, the only fix for this is to replace the cassette basket. I know your camcorder is actually made by JVC, but I don't have access to a manual so I can't supply a part number for you.

RCA CC9360 MINI DV

Try using a head cleaner cassette. You can get one here:
http://www.high-techproductions.com/panHeadClean.asp
or here:
http://www.amazon.com/PANASONIC-DVM-CLA-Mini-Head-Cleaner/dp/B00006JPWW

It could also be that the particular cassette is dirty. You can also clean the head with a Q-Tip dabbed in isopropyl alcohol. Ensure that you play a cassette only after the alcohol has evaporated, or the tape will get stuck.

Should this solution help you in any way, kindly take a moment to "Accept" this solution..

RCA CC604 VHCS Camcorder. My old camcorder won't record?

Question edited into written English with punctuation. The lens isn't black, the viewfinder is black. Connect it to a television or computer and see if playback and live recording is working. In that way you know the optics and the electronics are working. The viewfinder is a small LCD display screen with a magnifying glass in front of it. Take it to your local camera shop, they will know someone that still repairs these camcorders. I was hoping to find a free PDF manual as I wondered if there is a switch or a setting to turn OFF the viewfinder? https://www.google.com/search?q=RCA+CC604+VHCS+Camcorder+manual ..

RCA CC433 will not record or play back tapes

Hi, You can first check for any debris in the video tape player and double check that no settings are stopping the tape from playing (ie a stuck rewind button) . Otherwise, please use the services of geeksquad/bestbuy to refurbish your vcr player. You might also check out BandH (?) video to see if they can refurbish your video tape player. Thank you.

Vintage RCA Solid State Image Sensor VHS camcorder (Model Number CC275) wont record anything, or play back video. I’ve been putting in only new tapes with the tab intact, and every One simply refuses to record. I tried playing back an old vhs tape from like 30 years ago and while it did rewind, it didn’t play inside the camera. Does anyone know how I might be able to remedy This? Thank you in advance

I don't know anything about the vhs camera - other than they produce superior quality, when they work ok. It would be reasonable to assume the tape transport mechanism would be the same as in a vhs video recorder. I remember an engineer telling me there is a post or protrusion containing a light source and sensor that sometimes fails. The purpose of this is to detect a cassette has been properly loaded into the machine and if it isn't working the machine won't work or only partly work. I think the camera is worth saving but I strongly suggest such specialist equipment should be entrusted to a suitably experienced professional specialist.
