RMV1435BD under recall??
None to my knowledge, but common faults include keypad failure (may show error code "F3") and cooktop light failure, both of which can be affordably repaired. (See link below)

My Hotpoint microwave control panel will go off when it,s not in use. Sometimes tapping it will restart it , sometimes it restarts on its own
It may be a bad connection on the fuse holder, an intermittent fuse, a bad connection on one of the thermostats or elsewhere, or a bad connection on the control circuit board.
If you want to contact me privately with the model number, I can give you or a friend free DIY troubleshooting help and I also do microwave control circuit board repairs.
For more free DIY and other help and advice, feel free to contact me via my site.
Always include your FULL model number*, FCC ID number*, and detailed symptom information.
* from the tag in the cooking cavity or elsewhere on the oven (or send a clear photo of tag)

Hotpoint microwave. Plate will not stop rotating
If you mean the plate will continue to turn as long as the microwave is plugged in to electricity, then you have a short in, or a defective circuit board or master control.
Very few places repair these, particularly since they are often made overseas, and parts are not readily available.
Often your only choice is replacement.
God bless your efforts.

Will not heat
make this test and fix it. God bless you
- Check the power diodeThis
electronic component is responsible for transmitting current in one
direction. If the diode becomes defective it will cause your microwave
to not heat. Test the diode and replace it if necessary.
- High voltage capacitorResponsible
for storing electricity, this part is a key component in any microwave.
Remove, discharge, and test the capacitor to determine if it requires
replacement.
- Damaged magnetronResponsible
for generating waves and producing heat. When your microwave is no
longer heating properly, replacement will be required.
- Thermal CutoffsExamine
the thermal cutoffs on both the magnetron and the oven itself. Take off
one of the leads and using a volt-ohm meter on RX1, check the terminals.
If you get a result other than zero, replace the thermal cutoffs.

Control panel not working
If you can open up, try to clean the ribbon connector. My oven was sending "1" all the time, filled the memory and caused permanent beeping! I wanted to cut off the "1" connection but after opening I found that the panel was diffuclt to disassemble. I just cleaned the ribbon connector and put it pack. It needed a few attempts to get it to work all the buttons properly. But then it has been working for more than year without problem!

Thermal protector
There can be short in the ribbon connector that connects the control panel to the rest due to some oily deposits. You can try to open it up, remove the ribbon, clean it and put back. It may take a few attempts to align correctly.I am assuming your model is similar to mine.
