Planar 19'' model #PE1901BK---REMOVE THE BACK PANEL.

Check to see if the various connectors are mounted on a separate subpanel that is independent of the back cover or if you must perhaps remove some of the protruding connector hardware. The 'F' connectors (the threaded coaxial type for cable or antenna input) for example, may have a fairly large diameter (but thin) nut securing them.

Buzzing sound coming from monitor speakers

Check your leads, chances are it's a faulty/dodgy lead coming from your macbook to the system.

Can I use just the upstream hookup to connect an external monitor to my laptop? Also need to replace power cord. was not included Not the output needed Pwr rating says 12v dc 5.5a. That's all.

I use either VGA or HDMI connectors to connect to an external monitor. I'm not sure what you're asking on the "power cord". Are you asking about the charging "brick" and such? Or?

"Input not supported" even though it appears to be displaying correctly.

You will need to go to advanced settings under resolution options and set the display to 60hz refresh rate then go back to resolution and set your native, the problem is its probably trying to default to 75hz and is causing an issue
