Display for a few second
That is because your monitor has faulty capacitors. Capacitors in your monitor have a job to hold down power as it comes from the source long enough for a proper display. The only way to get around this problem is to open up the monitor (You can get a computer technician to do this for you if you can not do it by yourself). Or you can get a sharp - flat object and start opening (splitting) the two covers apart from the bottom of the monitor. You will notice finger-like structures that are holding the covers together. Make sure you do not break any of those. When you open it up, then check the circuit board where the power supply cable is connected. Check for any bulged or leaking capacitors. When a capacitor is bulged or leaking, it only holds power for at least 2 to 8 seconds then looses it. Buy the same type of capacitors and replace the faulty ones. Make sure you note the polarity of the capacitors before replacing (+ and -). This will definitely take you out of your trouble
The power led is flashing and the monitor will not
Hi
usually for these kind of issues., here are some common steps that helps at times.
1. Check the VGA Cable that connects the Monitor to the Tower (CPU).
2. Reseat the Cable once.
3.
Remove the VGA Cable & turn on the Monitor Alone. See if you get
any display saying "No Signal" or anything similar. If there is some
display, then it means that the problem is with the Tower (CPU) &
not with the monitor.
Hope this small sugession helps.
Cheers!!! Have a nice day!!!
Signal cable not connected
what do you mean? You are getting that message when you switch on? Have you checked the signal cable between your PC and your monitor? If you cable is connected properly and you are still getting that onscreen message, it means your monitor main board has failed, and if its out of warranty, its time to get a new one, because few repair shops will touch them, and when they do, it is not cheap.
My monitor screen has gone pink
first check the monitor by pluging in on different source like another pc or laptop and see if pic is still pink if thats the case
check the vga socket in monitor for pins that are bent or damaged try straighten then with some pointed object and see if it works
otherwise if ur pic is still pink then ur monitor is faulty but i think this is not the case
if ur lcd works fine on other pc or laptop then my friend ur vga card is faulty u need to replace it this is the only solution
pls rate me FIXYA if i fixed ur problem
Lcd giving no display and giving beep sound
Normally you will get beep sound at booting if you have a problem with your video card or under some circumstances with your screen.
Try to plug an other monitor on your computer. If it works than probably your monitor is in problem.
or
try to plug your monitor on an other pc. If it works than your computer video card is the problem.

Out of range
Your resolution setting in your operating system are incorrect.
Reboot into VGA mode (if you're using windows) and modify the resolution until it is correct.
Hope this helps,

Monitor displays no signal as soon as i boot into win xp
You may have to put the laptop in presenter mode, which tells it to use the attached monitor. There is supposed to be a key on the laptop which does this, its normally the FN key with CRT/LCD (F8). You can also do it via screen properties but since your screen is broke u'll have to use the key shortcut.
If that doesn't work, then your video card may be bad and you'll have to change it.
