Check your cmos battery for replacement?

HI This is Neo . find the head of the ribbon ,see that the copper plating is seen . if you see that you will find white head where you can put the ribbon cable . softly try to pull the white part and put the ribbon through the white head and push it and it is done . OR Copper plating is not seen on either side, you have to replace the ribbon . ask some technician to replace it he will do it .

battery is out....
change battery...the battery wears out with frequent charge and discharge...it has a running live of some 15000 to 20000 hrs

I think till I remember it was pressing Alt+f10 button to start the recovery if your system has not gone through harddisk format

ya i think if you call Sony then can ship you out a replacement cd cause it sounds like disk 2 is not working

take out recov disks and do this to restore ur system to factory default all data will be wiped off from C:

try taking out the battery and running it from the power pack only

try to open the windows in safemode to open windows in safe mode press F8 when your system start

if you can work in safemode try to restore windows to a pervious date
