Programme won't move on - rinses flashing and programme won't continue

Hi dear. Regarding your information, I would say 3 factors play up with it. 1- Tacho generator or it's plug faulty on motor 2- Motor Carbon brushes worn out or 3- Power/control unit faulty. I can advised to contact your local Miele center to diagnose your machine.Thanks.

My miele premier 300 is

that would depend on where the noise is coming from if you remove the top cover and diagnose that the noise is coming more along the area of the center back wall then that would be the bearing although when a motor starts to go you could also have motor noise which would be towards the bottom of the unit if the noise is starting mainly during the spin option and sounds like a grinding noise this could also be a bearing as well.three screws located in the rear of the machine that hold down the top panel remove these three and slide the top panel towards the rear. This will allow you to see where your noise is coming from if you have any further questions message me back Thanks Rick
p.s if you can turn the drum by hand and still hear a grinding or a type of scrapeing noise alot of the time it is a bearing issue but you would need to inspect the unit further to make sure that it is please also remember when our chat has fully concluded to rank how this opinion has helped in your appliance situation it allows me to help others in similar situations in the future Thanks

It appears your timer/main controller/CCU has failed in this instance.

For replacement parts - head on over to PartSelect.com or RepairClinic.com and enter in your full model number for a full parts listing.
I recommend both sites because ...

FixYa has no affiliation with either site - I have been using and recommending them for years - trouble free.

PartSelect has a great schematic database for locating the part on your unit and great "testimonials" for each part that often times includes HOW-TO information.
RepairClinic has pictures of each part they sell and also a great how-to and troubleshooting for basic repairs.

If your unit has never been serviced - there should still be an original service manual enclosed in plastic taped to the inside of the shell.
In the service manual are Error codes, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting steps you can follow.

Anything too complicated or beyond your scope should be handled by a professional.

If you think you want to tackle the repair - and have gotten stuck on a step - reply to your question and I will be glad to help you out.

Thanks for using FixYa - a 4 THUMBS rating is appreciated for answering your FREE question

Hi, Welcome to FixYa. While the transport "bolts" aren't essential, one would have to be incredibly careful as to not allow the inner component's to bang around. If you are transporting it a short distance and there aren't a lot of stairs involved you may be O.K. but I suspect the seller is just concerned you don't get it home and find it not working they don't feel responsible...it's good of them to disclose the bolts importance. Be really careful, avoid bouncing the machine around and you should be fine. Hope that answers your question. Thank's for choosing FixYa today. Please take a moment to rate the info I provided for you here today. Good luck, and be safe. Macmarkus :)

How to change door rubber on miele premier 300

I'm assuming you mean the flexible rubber between the door and the drum. Can it be replaced? The short answer is no! However...
I recently repaired a door rubber with a tear that caused the water to flood onto the floor. Here's how:
Yes, you can open the front to get to the door rubber however the rubber seal is glued to both the door and the inner drum lip.
You may have to tilt the machine on it's back to remove three screws from the underside of the front lip. (I forget if you need to take the water pump cover out as well but it wouldn't hurt to do so.) This allows the front panel (including door) to drop down a quarter inch or so and be eased out a little.
This allows *better* access to the drum rubber. To repair a tear - really the only reason you would want to do this - you need glue and some tape.
The door rubber is silicone and will stick with normal 'super glue'. However, bear in mind that these machines can do a wash up to 95C, which is hot enough to soften superglue.
I found a new version of superglue called Repair Extreme by Pattex that copes with temperatures up to 120C. It sets in about 5 minutes.
The glue needs to be flexible. Do not use epoxy resin.
I gave the glue some form by sticking a 10-15cm piece of duct tape - the silver shiny plastic tape plumbers use, readily available from any hardware and most supermarkets - to the *back* of the drum rubber. It's a tight squeeze to get your hands in there but it can be done.
Take the tension off the drum rubber by moving the front panel roughly back in place.
Then squeeze a generous amount of glue along the tear (about 3cm long on the bottom edge; a typical problem) to completely whet the edges to be joined.
Apply a little pressure to the location of the tear for a few minutes to help the glue hold fast. Leave the glue to set for at least half an hour before reassembly.
If you can source a replacement drum rubber the old one can basically be removed by force. A good cleaning and then a suitable glue could stick a new unit in place. However, if this is required, seriously consider buying a new unit. It is difficult to make a good seal that will not leak and may not be worth the effort in the first place.

Miele Novotronic W828 Water Control System Front Load Washer

Hello Ellen, welcome to fixya. I would begin by removing the rear panel and checking the belt and insure the basket pulley isn't loose as well. If the belt is in tack ( not broke ) but has come off that sometimes is caused by a loose or bent pulley, hence the suggestion to check the pulley. If the belt is broke, it may simply be a matter of normal "wear & tear" and just time to replace it. Hope that helps point you in the right direction. Please take a moment and rate this info according to it's helpfulness or let me know if I can assist you further. Thanks for visiting "fixya" today and good luck. Macmarkus :)
