Miele induction stovetop error FE31? It caused my fuse to blow but now can't get it to work. Any ideas?

Finally I found the meaning of FE 31. FE31 means "control panel is dirty" or "some object is on the control panel" When error code FE31 appear on the control panel, clean the control panel area with clean wet paper towel or remove any object on the control panel. If you do not trust me, turn on the cooktop and put small piece of paper towel on control panel. You cannot see FE31 error code soon. Turn off the cooktop and remove the piece of paper towel, the error code EF31 will disappear.

Hi I have a Miele KM5676 cooktop. I'm getting a FE error.

It is a generic hardware error and should contain a number which pinpoints the fault. You will likely need a service call. https://www.google.com/search?q=Miele+KM5676+cooktop.+FE+error ..

Miele HR1124 cooktop - turning one burner on keeps igniter clicking for all 4 burners.

It is a gas appliance and it is a Miele, so you need a registered gas technician to service it. In my experience, the spark igniters work on all burners. To clean the burners, remove them all and put them in a large saucepan. Add cold water and dish liquid, bring slowly to a simmer and turn off. When cold, rinse and scrub with a plastic pot brush, paying particular attention to holes and slots. This was a job we did in the restaurant every week. It is a good plan to do before you go to bed for the least disruption. The product specs says; Automatic re-ignitionSealed burners • M Pro Dual Stacked Burner System So perhaps my hack won't work if they aren't removable. I have a Miele electric cooktop KM5840 and one burner does not work. It will not come on at all.

Unless you have electrical skills I suggest have a qualified electrician check it. If you do have skills, obtain a volt/ohm meter and test the element for continuity and the socket for power. My guess you need a new element.

We have modern Miele induction hob not sure of model it has three single hot plate, one large double extra speed hot plate one double hot plate its in demonstration mod how can l cancel?

I am assuming the timer display is showing "dE" . If you have the manual page 50 (programming) shows how to cancel demo mode. It is program P 0, currently it is set to "0" (demo mode), you need to change it to "1" (demo mode off).

My miele electric cooktop will not stay on after I trip the circuit.

Without more info this is difficult to answer. I will say that all cooktop's have thermal overload switches built into them. They open the circuit until it all cools down and they then close the circuit and reset. You begin using it again and bang it opens again and no power. This means you have a short circuit or a bad overload switch. If you are tripping the circuit breaker, you likely have a short circuit, which is why it is tripping the breaker. I would not keep resetting it, if this is the case. The more you blow or open the breaker the weaker it becomes. They open to prevent an electrical fire, which you do not want.
