i cant get mt printer to work, i lost the software

You say it works with XP, so I assume it doesn't work with Vista? If that's the case you can download the newest Vista drivers HERE.

ok..you'll need to remove the old software entirely, and go here for new drivers, etc(Use the HP icon when you get there)

Please try below steps :

Steps to reset the Print Spooler.

Before you perform below steps, please disconnect the Printer from Computer and turn off and perform the steps and once done with steps then reconnect and restart the Printer....

1. Click Start, select Run.

2. This will open new windows. now please type as services.msc

3. again it opens a new windows, now please locate to the file that says like Print Spooler.

4. Right click on the file and select the option " Restart".

5. Now you might get a confirmation stating that Print Spoole is restarted...

6. Now please restart the Computer and then Connect the Printerer and then Power On printer and check the issue.


I hope that this will resolve the and Printer will start Printing...

If the issue still persists then please contact technical Support of Printer as error message also occur if there is an issue with Printer Software or if there is any issue with Printer Carriage assembly.

turn off your printer, and in the computer in the properties of the printer u have to cancel the work, it will take several minutes

it's in your settings for your photo imaging application. set it there, and then make sure NOT to scale it on the printer settings.

Installation Instructions

4. Click Finish.
5. Connect the USB cable between the HP All-in-One device and the computer, then turn on the HP All-in-One device.

This can be caused by another of things, but the 2 of the most common are faults with alignment or dirty rollers.

Thing to do first is run the cleaning routine and then alignment routine..

Clean the rollers with a dry clean cloth

first u need to be sure that the other computer with the printer is in the same net whith your laptop, then you need to shared the printer, and in your laptop u need to search that shared printer and installed

after selecting FAX answer mode press the OK button to accept the changes.
