Hi,

Are you able to make copy standalone ?

If yes, follow the steps on your pc

Click on start button
Click on Control panel
Open Printers and Faxes Folder
Check if there is any documents stuck in Queue on the printer icon
If yes, Right click on the icon and click Cancel all documents, ( do it 2-3 times )
Refresh the page by pressing F5 button on keyboard.
Disconnect the printer power cord, Restart your PC and connect the cord.
Try to print

Yes, please. You do need to connect the phone line to your HP All in One. You will find a socket for the phone line to go into.

Try unplug it for 20 sec and plug it back. Sometimes is working.

JUST put the document needed to be scaned face down as you send a fax and then go to the start program and will find the scan image from a sccaner or can go to control pannel and choose sccaner and imaging devices double click to open and choose your scanner and can say get images from sccaner and it will be all done

Try this.Plug the printer but turn it off.When ask for connect the printer to the PC turn on the printer.

Hi,

First step is to know the version ( system type ) of your Dell Vista PC.
Click on START button
Right click on Computer and left Click on Properties
From the New Window Check for System Type : It will be mentioned as 32 bit operating system or 64 bit operating system. ( Remember this )

I assume you have not installed the complete software for your Printer.
Click on the link below to download the drivers for Vista O/s for the printer.
When the page is open - Choose the Operating system and click on Next Button.

Click on Drivers and Product installation option and click on HP Full Feature Software and Drivers
Click on Download button on top and click SAVE ( Remember the location you save the file )
You need to run the downloaded software.
Disconnect the USB Cable from printer before you start the installation as the screen will prompt you when you connect it.
Download Drivers

Goto www.support.hp.com and look for the correct drivers for your computer, make sure to select the correct operating system with the version i.e- 32bit or 64bit. Install the driver and that should do the trick.

Install software
Make sure all cables plugged: phone cable, USB cable to computer

Send fax from computer:
- print your document to printer HP .... FAX

Send "traditional" fax:
- put your document into scanner input
- type phone number on HP Officejet keyboard
- push button "Send"

If your HP Officejet if connected to phone line, it reseiving faxes automatically.

first open and close the front panel
disconnect the data cable(usb, lpt)
if problem exist
its may be there is something pushed the sensors that check in/out going papers like piece of paper or somethinge else
