My printer keeps flashing the yellow trouble

Turn it off, put a few drops of oil (3 in 1 or sewing machine oil) onto the bar that the carrier rides on, if you can move the carrier to the left and put some oil (just a few drops) on the right side also.

Hp612c deskjet printer attempts to feed paper, but

Hello there
You may not see a paper jam.

This may work for you, it has worked for many here I given this advice so gave it a try it could work for you. Generally when this happens, something has fallen into the printer, or a piece of paper has been jammed in there.

First step, remove the ink cartridge, and turn the printer upside down and gently shake it, see if anything comes out.

If nothing goes, or you can't hear anything rattling around, get a piece of cardstock paper (60lb or heavier) and gently push this through the printer, to see if it will help push out what might be stuck in there.

And gave the rode that the ink slides on a good clean and maybe a bit oil on cloth and wipe the rod with it.

Also clean The purge unit, called a spittoon assembly in an HP, Lexmark, Caonon and other inkjet printers, is where the print head assembly parks when not in use, also its other job is to clean and make sure the print head is clean and open for printing.

That is where you'll find the print head assembly parked on top of it.
It also has an electrical pump to milk the print heads and test for ink flow.

So clean all under where the heads are parked and on IP6600D models you can take out the heads just by clipping them out, and then clean well.

Please come back and just gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one so I will keep on helping.

DOES NOT PRINT AT ALL

There is a rubber feed roller above the paper. Clean this roller with WD40. Do not spray the roller. Spray a small area on a cotton rag and rub it all over the rubber roller. That will do the trick.

Hp deskjet constantly says out of paper. As far

Each printer has a sensor that determines when there is no paper, on cheaper printers like deskjets it tries to feed the paper and when it fials it gives this error. The feeder for the printer is most likley bad, replcaement is the most cost effective solution , repairing it would be more then a new unit.

My Printer Is Driving Me Crazy

Hi, this sound like a driver problem. But then again, it might also be printer cable if you are using the parallel port. I will assume the you are using WinXP and the printer is using parallel or LPT1. Try first to reinstall the driver. The first step would be to download the latest driver for your printer at http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?product=58123&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&lang=en&cc=us. Drivers are OS specific so you have to choose what is appropriate. Switch off/disconnect your printer from your PC. After downloading, remove/delete your old 612c printer (+ drivers). To do this, start, printers & faxes, delete 612c icon. Windows may or may not ask you to also remove related software such as drivers. If asked, answer yes (this is to make sure to your fresh). Reboot (though not necessary but make sure printer is still off/disconnected). Install newly downloaded driver. If it is in a zip file, uncompress in a temporary folder. If it is an executablwe, doublie click. Run the full install, when asked to search for a printer, decline, it will auto install in lpt1. Soon as finished, it may or may not ask you to reboot. Connect and power on your printer. Windows may auto detect new hardware, click cancel. Go to your printer settings and print a test page. Hope this works for you. Good luck.
