Thanks for using FixYa. The main cause for media rejection is the media loading process. Media can be rejected because of two reasons:

• Loading through the bypass, the media is loaded with too much skew. Skew limit to load media through the bypass is 6 thousandths (.006) of an inch.
• Loading through the bypass or loading media bigger than A4 through the tray, media is positioned to far away from the right side.

To minimize media rejection, follow the tips below:

• Check that media in the tray is correctly placed, and adjusters are correctly set.
• When loading through the bypass, check that media is correctly aligned to the right side and inserted completely inside the printer.
• Always use the load button to load a single sheet through the bypass in the D-size models.

Sounds like the printhead is kaput.

check the catridges thier must be a mixing up of color when you were refilling the catridges

79 errors are usually bad firmware that needs replaced or updated. Sometimes it is simply a bad print job being sent. Check to see if only one print job is causing this error, or if it happens with everything you try to print.
