If you are given print command and that time printer off position no issue, because print command given after on the printer then printer seance any command or printer print the doc.

How to scan x ray film
scanning xray film is not possible in this model. you need a negative scanner to do that.normally in software you have an option called negative. this option convert the positive image into negative. but it will not give exact output what we need. you can try this option also.

Check printer cartridge E
Turn off the printer, unplug from wall, wait 5 miutes, plug it in & turn it on. Have the same issue with my husbands 1210 & this is how I fix his about 3x's a week.

Need to align ink cartridges
Follow the steps to align newly installed cartridges.
- When prompted, make sure plain white letter or A4 paper is loaded in the input tray.
- Press the button next to OK on the control panel display.
- The product prints an alignment page.
- Place the alignment page print-side down on the right front corner of the glass.
- Press the button next to OK on the control panel display.
When the On button stops flashing, the alignment is complete. Remove the page and recycle or discard it.
Method two: Print an alignment page using the computer- Double-click the HP Digital Imaging Monitor icon ( ) on the lower right side of the Windows taskbar.
- The HP Solution Center displays.
- In the HP Solution Center, click Settings . Then click Printer Toolbox .
- The printer Toolbox displays.
- Click the Device Services tab.
- Click Align the Print Cartridges .
- When prompted, make sure plain white letter or A4 paper is loaded in the input tray.
- Press the button next to OK on the control panel display.
- The product prints an alignment page.
- Place the alignment page print-side down on the right front corner of the glass.
- Press the button next to OK on the control panel display.
