You have to reset the cartridge chip with a special device that resets the stored ink state data.

Expose the ink cartridges to some steam, this may clear the nozzles. if it starts to work, repeat the steam thing and clean the cartridges from software.

No , it will not move internally if it thinks cartridge is missing, sounds like cartridge wasn't properly seated during iperation. recheck install cartridge settings and clean up mess. PS the ink on your fingers will be there for a week
