First of all u need to assemble the printer and need to ensure that the printer has a steady green light on Power..
If any light blinks it means there is some problem with the printer..
To connect the printer with your Laptop u need an USB cable which has a rectangular connector at one end wich will be connected to the Laptop's USB Slot and the other end of that cable will have almost square connector wich will be connected to the printer...
Before connecting the printer U need to install the Software on the Laptop and connect the printer when system prompts..
remember the printer should be powered on while connecting to the system..

Click on this link to go to HP's site. From the list click on the operating system you are using. It will take you to the drivers download page. Select the one that is more convenient to you. Download it and save it in a specific folder in your computer. Afterwards, go to that folder, double click on the driver you just downloaded, follow installation instructions and you are ready to go. shut down the printer and computer both then on only the pc and cancel allthe pending documents from it then again shut down your pc check allthe wires connected properly then on both printer and pc.it will work properly.feel free for further assistance.

You can usually go to the HP website directly and download the printer directly.

try cleaning the brown dotted circuit of both cartridge and printer with moist tissue,then insert again.

Yeah, the only thing that can cause this is paper feed problems.

There must be either something loose in the paper feed mech (look for wobbling "tires") or there is still some paper or other foreign debris in the paper feed path.

Probably a small piece of paper (now black with ink and hard to see) stuck in the extreme corners (probably the left side).

try restarting the spooler

goto start - run - then type "Services.Msc" without the quotations obviously, the look for Printer Spooler - right click on the line, and left click stop.

once it has stopped its status will change from running to stopped, then right click and left click start.

this should hopefully clear any jobs it thinks it has in the queue.

hmm...maybe your print drivers went off line?

remove them, and go here for a fresh set

happens sometimes from power glitches

The color cartridge sping was loose. I am in the process of super gluing it into place. Hopefully it will work.

Hello. First of all I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year! I recently bought a HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3515 printer. The printer works fine (prints, scans and copies). There is only one problem with it. It returns me an error when I'm shutting it off. This happens very often but not always, it is kinda annoying. The error is displayed as: ERROR CODE 0X02B7C2ED SM_MODULE C (the error is also shown on the image). I tried to Google the problem but without effects. I don't know what could be the problem. Can someone help me please, because I have no idea what could be the issue. Thanks for any replays.

If you are using a Windows PC, search for devices and printers. Once you find the printer, right click on it, go into printing preferences and you should find a tab in there that will all you to disable color. If you want to be able to print in both and black will not print, make sure your black ink cartridge is not empty or that it is properly installed.
