Have you cleaned the corona wire?

It is located in the top of the machine near the exit. There is a very good video on youtube which shows how to replace the maintenance kit which includes the fuser. The fuser part starts at about 3.5 min into the video. I googled HP Color LaserJet 2600n Printer Where is the fuser located and it was the first video listed. I hope this helps. Try to recalibrate the colors. Make sure the seal is pulled on the toner cartridge. Make sure the toner cartridge is pushed all the way in to let the sensor touch the chip on the cartridge. If possible, take the right side door (as you are facing the printer) off and try printing a demo page. Check to make sure both large gears engage are turning together as it prints.

make sure all the toners are correctly installed on the unit and that the fuser and ITB is also in working order. you can also take the printer to an HP service centre for a skilled technician to have a look at the unit.

This is just a shot in the dark, but if there is no "reset" button, you might try unplugging it for a couple of minutes and it should reset itself. Just a guess. If you have an owners manual, I would check there to find how to reset it. If not, you should be able to find one at the printer manufacturer's website in the support section.

Carry out a Head cleaning prog

I have had this problem before and had to replace the print head/lense unit, as you have cleaned the lenses.
