HP Laserjet 1320n Error Lights not in Manual SPAM LOSERS CAN BE FOUND AT 1*800*532*4187

I've got a HPLJ 1320n that is showing a combination of status lights which are not in the user's manual (which leads me to believe this isn't going to be good!). The lights I have are: Toner Light: No Light Attention Light: Solid Amber/Orange Ready Light: Blinking Green Go Button Light: Blinking Green I've done a power cycle several times leaving the printer off a couple mins each time. Once back on, I can't print a test page or clear the lights. I've changed toners twice and I don't see any paper jams. I'm thinking it's something serious as these lights don't appear in the manual. and i got solution in troubleshooting....just vi refixe the connetion of laser scanner........its the error of comunication between laser scanner and formatter....

I have lost my installation cd for my HP Laser Jet 1320 printer,how can I install the printer without the isntallation cd?

Just downloading the PCL5 driver was not enough for my computer. Maybe it is enough for other users' computers. But in addition to downloading the drivers, i had to also download and install the "HP Laserjet 1320 plug and play print driver solution" at the bottom of the driver list. Save the file to your desktop, double-click it and follow instructions to install, then reboot. Then when I checked my printer list, the HP Laserjet 1320 was there. I printed a test page, and now i am good to go. Hope this helps.

This problem is caused by Mopier Mode being enabled by default. The idea of Mopier Mode is to minimise computer and network traffic by sending only 1 copy to a printer equiped with suitable internal memory. That stored copy is then used to produce the multiple copies. Most HP Laserjets do not have suitable internal memory and so only the one copy sent by the computer gets printed. To disable Mopier Mode:
Click Start
Click Devices and Printers
Right click your Laserjet Printer
Select Printer Properties
Click the Device Settings Tab
Scroll down to the bottom
If necessary, expand Installable Options
Click on Mopier Mode
Select Disable in the selection box that appears
Click Apply
You will now get multiple copies.

For me worked this:

- Turn off the printer

- Turn on the printer

- Push and mantain pushed the button on the back of the printer (near to USB connector) for 30 seconds.

- Release the button

- With 1 to 3 minutes for DHCP Server (if you have one)

The printer now have a default configuration, if you have a DHCP server your printer now have a IP Address of your DHCP Server's IP pool.

- Print a coniguration page holding down the green button until the attention LED is blinking

- Release it, 3 pages will be printed.

It is done

HP P2015 will not print on both sides (automatic mode)

Hi all! I have at work a HP P2015 and it will NOT print on both sides (automatic mode), no matter what driver or anything i do, or try, even if i check the option in Preferences of the printer. The system is Win XP SP3, USB connection to the printer. Thank in advance

Properties --> Device Settings --> Duplex Unit (for 2-Sided Printing): Not Installed ------ This need change to 'Installed'

hp laserjet 1320 printing blank pages

i was asked to look a a hp laserjet 1320 printing blank pages even after replacing the cartrage.
i have checked the cartrage it is working ok on another printer.
there seems to be no parts broken on the printer.
anyone got any ideas???

check printer door, there is a small plastic piece wich pushed down (to open) lasser scaner cover. if this piece is broken you can get blank page

If you changed the password from the default one but forgot the one you set it too all you really can do at this point is set the printer back to the factory defaults. The menu options below will help you do this.

Advanced Printer Settings

Settings tab

Resets = Change all the printer settings back to the factory default settings.

My HP LaserJet 1320 is showing an Orange Light ( Exclamation mark inside the Triangle) and i could not make any printing... It's keep showing that problem after restart the Printer. Can anyone give me some solution pls.

if the light is blinking it means
1. either the cartridge door is open
2. or paper tray is empty
3 or paper is misfeed
4. or paper jam


Verify that the print
cartridge is present and
that the print-cartridge
door is closed correctly.
2. Verify that media is
present in the input tray.
3. Clear any jams and
perform paper-path
functional checks.
4. Make sure that the
interlocks are operating
correctly.
