What is A1, A2 referring to on the machine display panel

If it is the lower display with the 2 green digits, then that is referring to hours of service since last brush clean cycle. It is just a timer. Once it reaches 99, it start to use letters and numbers, so A1 would be 101 hours since last brush clean. b1 would be 111 hours and so on. To clear this the machine must recognize a brush clean cycle. the next time you clean your freezer door, make sure the power switch is off. it will display a 5 minute timer and 4 temperature readings. All 4 of those temperature readings must be above 60 degrees Fahrenheit and remain above 60 for 5 minutes. If at any point the temps drop below 60, the timer will reset. The freezer door must remain off the machine during this time. Once the timer reaches 0, the machine will enter a Unit Cleaned state and you can reassemble the machine.

We have a Taylor 754-27 ice cream machine. Worked fine. Changed out all gaskets, seals o- rings. Left side now will freeze in the tub, but will not freeze in the barrel. Any ideas.

If the left side of your Taylor 754-27 ice cream machine is freezing in the tub but not in the barrel, there could be a few potential issues to consider. Here are some possible causes and troubleshooting steps: 1. Insufficient refrigerant flow: Check if the refrigerant flow is restricted or inadequate, which can prevent proper freezing in the barrel. Ensure that the refrigerant lines and valves are clear and not blocked or clogged. You may need to clean or replace any filters or strainers in the refrigerant system. 2. Temperature control malfunction: Verify that the temperature control settings are correct for the barrel freezing process. The control thermostat may be faulty and need replacement. Check the temperature sensor and wiring connections to ensure they are in good condition. 3. Insulation problems: Examine the insulation surrounding the barrel to ensure it is intact and properly insulating. Insufficient insulation can lead to the barrel not freezing as expected. If the insulation is damaged, replace it with appropriate insulation materials. 4. Barrel motor or drive system issues: If the barrel is not rotating properly, it may result in inadequate freezing. Check the motor and drive components responsible for rotating the barrel. Look for any signs of wear or damage and ensure they are functioning correctly. Lubricate the drive system if necessary. 5. Refrigeration system malfunction: A problem with the compressor, condenser, or evaporator can impact the freezing process. Inspect these components for any signs of malfunction, such as unusual noises, leaks, or inadequate cooling. If any issues are found, it is advisable to contact a professional refrigeration technician for repair or servicing. 6. Improper assembly or installation: Double-check the gaskets, seals, and o-rings that were replaced during maintenance. Ensure they are properly installed and creating a tight seal. Any gaps or leaks in these components can affect freezing performance. If you have attempted these troubleshooting steps and the issue persists, it is recommended to contact a professional technician who specializes in Taylor ice cream machines. They will have the expertise to diagnose and repair the specific problem with your equipment. Might help

Question about standby mode on a taylor soft serve machine #8752

Standby Mode deactivates the beater and keep the ice cream cold. When you come off Standby, the ice cream warms a little and the beater starts. You can be in standby Mode as long as you like, It keep the ice cream mix in peak condition. There will be a short delay in serving the next customer. Standby (US and Canada Only) During long no-sale periods it becomes necessary to warm product in the freezing cylinder to approximately 35°F to 40°F (1.7°C to 4.4°C) to prevent overbeating and product breakdown. When the STANDBY button is pressed, the light comes on, indicating the cylinder temperature retention system (CTR) has been activated. In the Standby mode, the Wash, Pump, and Auto functions are automatically canceled. The Mix Ref function is automatically locked in to maintain the mix in the cabinet. To resume normal operation, press the AUTO button. When the machine cycles off, product in the freezing cylinder will be at serving viscosity. How to unlock taylor c712 freezer lock

Under normal operating conditions, the C712 will enter freezer lock when the temperature of the barrels or hoppers have been above 41 degrees for too long. It requires you to do a cleaning cycle. You will have to empty the machine of product, rinse it out, remove the freezer door, and shut the machine off. once the machine is off you will see a 5 minute timer and 4 temperature readings. That timer wont start unless all 4 temperature reading are above 60 degrees F. once the timer reaches zero, the machine will unlock and your brush cycle timer will reset to 00. The brush cycle timer is underneath your main display. Your main display should now show "Power Switch Off--- Unit Cleaned" and you can now reassemble your machine and can use it.Some causes: Low product with a lid off. During a cleaning cycle, the barrels take longer to come up to temperature than the hoppers. Its entirely possible to thoroughly and properly clean the machine without satisfying the temperature requirements. The machine doesn't register the cleaning cycle and you reassemble the machine. The machine doesn't know you cleaned the machine so it was still keeping track of how long the temperatures were above 41 degrees and as soon you try to put it in auto or standby, it goes into a freezer locked condition. One of the probes may be failing. You can check this by going into "Current Conditions" in your managers menu. You'll see the 4 temperature readings and if one of them is a lot higher or lower than the actual temperature of the product that could be an indicator of a failing temperature probe.www.softserveparts.com
