Hotpoint VTDOO dryer works but timer does not move and no reverse
sounds like you may have a timer with the contacts sticking closed at certian intervals. or a bad pcb check visual inspection of PCB look for burns or bulges, on the diodes or capcitors, Ihave in the past taken timers apart and fixed sticking contacts by sanding with emery cloth.

Hotpoint Aquarius dishwasher DWF34S/42 no power - possible fuse blown
Based on your description, it sounds like there was a short circuit in the dishwasher which caused the fuse to blow and the burning smell. It is possible that the burnt connection you are seeing is related to the short circuit.
If you have experience with electrical repairs, you can try to identify and replace the burnt connection. However, if you are not comfortable with electrical work, it is recommended that you seek the assistance of a qualified technician to avoid any potential safety hazards.
In any case, before attempting any repairs, make sure that the dishwasher is disconnected from the power source and that all safety precautions are taken.

Hotpoint TCFS93B is the motor starting to fail or ?
It is possible that the motor in your Hotpoint TCFS93B tumble dryer is beginning to fail if it is experiencing difficulty starting up and exhibiting similar symptoms to a failing capacitor. However, without more information or further diagnosis by a qualified technician, it is not possible to accurately determine the cause of the issue

The drum wont spin on my Hotpoint CTD00 dryer
Remove top cover, and see if the belt is intact, if it is then it could be the motor is not working for one reason or another, this would entail further investigation.
Please rate my solution.
Thanks.

How do I remove bra wire from hotpoint v3d01 tumble dryer
It really depends on where it is stuck, and you don't tell us that. If it is down where the filter is, you can get it with a magnet taped to a stick. If it is between the drum and the outer drum you may be able to open out a coat hanger and pull it towards the edge. Depending on the age of the dryer, it might be time for a full strip-down service and do some maintenance. Grease the bearings, oil the drum slides and remove all the lint that hides inside and causes 'Dryer Fires'.
You are not alone, and there are videos to help you.

I have a hotpoint aquarius tdc 30 conderser
Hi, Well if it is getting hot but not drying the clothes than most likely you have an airflow problem. Take off the vent hose on the back of the dryer. It will be plugged up with lint either inside that vent on the dryer or the hose will be plugged somewhere. If you clean this or just plain replace the old hose this will take care of the problem. Good Luck. feed back is appreciated.

Son put very wet clothes in Hotpoint Dryer and caused it to stop working ?? Fixable? Bought in only 2017
This will depend on what has broken. Get a Good technician to look at it and they'll be able to tell you if it's a repair or replace situation.
Start by checking the basic stuff first. Does yours use an overflow tank or is plumbed into the main house drain? If it is a tank, check it's empty. Some machines have an electronic safety cut off that trips on when the tank is full. The machine also has a large filter, usually fitted below the drum, That needs to be cleaned regularly.
The three main mechanical things that need to be checked will be the motor, the drive belt and the drum bearings.
Try this... With the machine Off and empty, try turning the drum by hand.
It should turn smoothly with a small amount of resistance. Push the drum up and down. it should only move forward and backwards a small amount. As it turns it should have a quiet 'hiss' like sound. this is the bearing on the back of the drum.
If the drum spins very easily it is possibly the drive belt is damaged or snapped. If the drum feels gritty and has a gritty noise as it turns it is possibly the drum bearings. If the drum won't turn or is very tight when it turns this is also a sign of bad bearings.
