I need drivers package
Go to www.sony.com and go to support and then downloads. When you are there, provide the name and the model of your laptop so that you can find the appropriate drivers for your laptop. Its very easy to do. If you are not sure of what i am talking about, then just go on google and type download drivers for sony (Model of your laptop)

Low video qulaity
Check drivers.Right click My Computer > Manage. Device Manager > Display Adapters. Do you have any Unknown Devices listed, with a ? Installing the drivers might identify and resolve. Download and execute.http://s02.download.sony.com/US/pc/NVDVID-00825414-US.EXE

Hello:
First remove the battery and plug in your power adapter and see if the units operates correctly. If so then replace the smart battery. IF not then you may have a issue with the DC to DC converter inside the computer, at which time its time for service, also check sonys websites answer forum for more information on this problem.

Hello,
i have sony vaio VPCEB46FG
It is required to install the hard disk SATA drivers in the computer first. Download and extract the SATA drivers in a floppy drive, hard drive or CD on a different computer. Then, retsrt the computer by having the Windows XP disc inserted and beging the setup. During the setup process press the F6 key and enter>enter and then install the SATA drivers. Then, continue with the further setup process.

Select Windows XP Operating System and install the SATA drivers. Once, the SATA drivers are successfully installed you can continue with the further setup process with out errors.
You can also view a complete set of instructions on downgrading to the Windows XP Operating System and installing the SATA drivers.

I have sony notebook VGN-AS33B,
1. uninstall audio and modem driver
2. download and install microsoft uaa driver from this link (i assume you have windows xp):

3. re-install audio and modem driver and check status

Try searching on http://www.kingston.com - you can look up your computer and they'll tell you how much RAM it will take and what type.

My sony vaio vgn showed blue screen of death and

for the inspection of the ram first. open
the ram cover and remove your ram, the ram rubbing the copper with fire
(if you have the new ram (or ram a 100% work) is even better.
re-enter your ram and see what happens (if still no change)
open your hard disk and connect it using the external casing and then scanned with the use of effective anti-virus. when everything is complete, reinstall the hard disk and see what happens.
if it still happens you have to do repairs and inspections are more serious again.
These things usually happen because of hardware or software problems

Windows will not boot and
Hi,
Try restoring the computer to last know good configuration by pressing the F8 key at the startup and check if that helps. If it does not work, please use a OS disc to repair the OS. Insert the CD restart the computer and press R to repair the OS, rest you should be able to perform on your own.
