Friend, try to replace the battery. If it doesn't work try to press firmly the LCD connection interface underneath the screen because such unit has lossen connection.use T6 screwdriver to open the unit then slowly firmly press the LCD connector on the interface. Such thing will solve the problem. good luck

This isn't really a solution, but be aware that the password IS case sensitive.

Did you manually cancelled the touch screen support or locked the screen if not hurry for repair shop coz may be serious problem with touch screen

get a new one or track it down if chipped

you can try by getting a new sim card or just press reset button

I looked at another question and discovered the "2nd" on the screen. That fixed it.

The MENU option will appear in the display just above the directional cursor keys but only when the numeric keyboard is used.

The QWERTY text keyboard alternates with the NUMERIC keyboard when you touch the "2nd" mode key in the lower left hand corner.

Good luck.

Select the mode key with the image of the Clock/Globe.

Select the "2nd" mode key in the lower left hand corner to alternate between the QWERTY/TEXT keyboard and the NUMERIC keyboard. Choose the QWERTY/TEXT keyboard.

Select EDIT.

Use the the NEXT button to scroll through city choices until the city name is blank and enter the City and State you wish and press ENTER.

The cursor will then move through the remaining display choices for Date and Time and the keyboard will alternate as needed automatically. Press ENTER after entering the time setting.

Its on the left side on the "numeric" screen... press 2nd to swap between alpha and numeric screens

I contacted Sharp Tech support who told me to:

Touch the reset button on the back of the unit. The display will show "RESET?"

Touch the 2nd tab on the front of the unit.

Touch ENTER

This will reset the unit to factory settings. All information will be lost, but you will be able to use the unit again. I did this and it worked beautifully.

If it is MS office software on the PDA the fields should convert. Problems arrive with different versions though. What is the Software you are using on the PDA? (and version, and version of win)?

you might want to try other usb cable because there are a lot of usb's that are not following the revisions code.
